Align your portfolio with Citrix product lines
Cloud Software Group's Technical Lead openings frequently center on Citrix virtualization, DaaS, and networking infrastructure. Tailor your resume and GitHub portfolio to reflect direct experience with these product domains before applying.
Confirm your LCA prevailing wage tier early
Cloud Software Group files Labor Condition Applications with DOL before your H-1B can proceed. Research the prevailing wage for Technical Lead roles in their primary hiring locations so you can assess fit before reaching the offer stage.
Prepare a specialty occupation evidence package
USCIS scrutinizes Technical Lead petitions for specialty occupation eligibility. Compile degree transcripts, a degree equivalency evaluation if needed, and a detailed job duty breakdown that maps your background directly to the role's technical requirements.
Target open roles through Migrate Mate
Cloud Software Group lists Technical Lead positions across multiple locations with varying sponsorship eligibility. Use Migrate Mate to filter and track those openings so you're applying to roles where visa sponsorship is confirmed, not assumed.
Understand TN eligibility if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship
Cloud Software Group sponsors TN visas for qualifying roles. If you're a Canadian or Mexican citizen, verify your job title and duties meet DOL's Computer Systems Analyst or Engineer category before the offer is finalized, since TN classification happens at the border.
Request EB-2 or EB-3 PERM timelines during offer negotiation
Cloud Software Group sponsors employment-based Green Cards for Technical Leads. Ask your recruiter whether the role is eligible for PERM sponsorship and what the expected filing timeline looks like, so you can plan around your current visa's expiration or cap-gap window.

Find Technical Lead at Cloud Software Group JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Cloud Software Group sponsor H-1B visas for Technical Leads?
Yes, Cloud Software Group sponsors H-1B visas for Technical Lead roles. The process requires the company to file a Labor Condition Application with DOL and then submit an I-129 petition to USCIS on your behalf. Because Technical Lead positions involve architectural decision-making and specialized engineering knowledge, they generally satisfy USCIS specialty occupation requirements, though the exact petition strength depends on how your duties and degree are documented.
How do I apply for Technical Lead jobs at Cloud Software Group?
Apply directly through Cloud Software Group's careers portal, which lists openings across their Citrix, NetScaler, and cloud infrastructure product lines. You can also browse verified Technical Lead openings with confirmed sponsorship details on Migrate Mate, which filters roles specifically for candidates who need visa sponsorship, saving you the step of vetting each posting manually.
Which visa types does Cloud Software Group commonly use for Technical Lead roles?
Cloud Software Group sponsors H-1B, TN, and employment-based Green Cards including EB-2 and EB-3 for Technical Lead positions. H-1B is the most common path for candidates already in the U.S., TN is available to Canadian and Mexican citizens whose duties fit a DOL-recognized category, and PERM-based Green Card sponsorship is typically available for longer-tenured employees or roles the company has difficulty filling domestically.
What qualifications does Cloud Software Group expect for Technical Lead roles?
Expect a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related field, combined with several years of hands-on engineering experience. Cloud Software Group's Technical Lead roles typically require demonstrated experience leading delivery teams, owning system architecture decisions, and working within enterprise software environments. Familiarity with Citrix or cloud-native infrastructure strengthens your application significantly given the company's core product focus.
How do I plan around H-1B filing timelines when targeting Cloud Software Group?
H-1B cap-subject petitions are filed once per year, with USCIS opening registration in March and employment starting no earlier than October 1. If you receive an offer from Cloud Software Group outside that window, ask whether the role qualifies for a cap-exempt filing or whether you can transfer an existing H-1B. Build at least three to four months of buffer between your offer acceptance and your intended start date to account for LCA certification and USCIS processing.
