Document your specialty occupation credentials early
USCIS requires Project Superintendent roles to meet specialty occupation standards. Gather your degree transcripts, professional engineering licenses, and any certifications like OSHA 30 or CCM before applying. A clear credential package strengthens your H-1B petition considerably.
Target Crossland's active regional project pipelines
Crossland builds across the central and southeastern U.S., so identify which regions have active commercial or industrial projects. Applying to openings tied to funded, in-progress projects increases your odds since those roles have immediate hiring pressure behind them.
Align your resume to Crossland's project delivery model
Crossland self-performs much of their work, so your resume should highlight direct field supervision experience rather than subcontractor oversight. Demonstrate experience managing concrete, steel, or MEP trades in-house to match what their hiring teams actually look for.
Negotiate H-1B filing before your start date
USCIS H-1B petitions for cap-subject workers must be filed no earlier than April 1 for an October 1 start. Confirm with Crossland's HR team that they'll commit to a filing timeline during the offer negotiation stage, not after you've signed.
Verify Crossland's LCA covers your specific work site
DOL Labor Condition Applications are site-specific. If your role rotates across project sites, Crossland must either file multiple LCAs or use short-term placement provisions. Confirm this with their immigration counsel before your first day to avoid compliance gaps.
Use Migrate Mate to find open roles before they go cold
Project Superintendent openings at construction firms fill quickly once a project is awarded. Search Migrate Mate to surface active Crossland postings filtered by visa sponsorship, so you're applying while the role still has budget and timeline flexibility.

Find Project Superintendent at Crossland Construction Company JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Crossland Construction Company sponsor H-1B visas for Project Superintendents?
Yes, Crossland Construction Company has sponsored H-1B visas for Project Superintendent roles. The H-1B requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation, which means demonstrating that a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field like construction management or civil engineering is a standard requirement for the role. Crossland's immigration counsel handles the petition process, but you'll need to meet both the educational and experience thresholds USCIS expects.
Which visa types are commonly used for Project Superintendent roles at Crossland Construction Company?
The H-1B is the primary visa category used for Project Superintendent positions at construction firms like Crossland. If you're a Canadian or Mexican national, the TN visa under the USMCA is another option for qualifying construction management roles. Longer term, employer-sponsored Green Card pathways through PERM labor certification are possible but typically come after you've established yourself in the role.
What qualifications or experience does Crossland Construction Company expect for Project Superintendent roles?
Crossland typically looks for candidates with a degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a closely related field, combined with hands-on field supervision experience on commercial or industrial projects. Experience managing self-performed scopes like concrete or structural steel carries significant weight. OSHA 30 certification and familiarity with construction scheduling software are practical requirements you should be able to demonstrate during interviews.
How do I apply for Project Superintendent jobs at Crossland Construction Company?
You can find open Project Superintendent positions at Crossland Construction Company through Migrate Mate, which filters job listings by visa sponsorship eligibility so you can confirm H-1B support before applying. Applications typically go through Crossland's careers portal, where you'll submit a resume and project history. Tailoring your materials to highlight Crossland's self-perform construction model and regional project experience gives your application the best foundation.
How do I plan my timeline around the H-1B process when targeting Crossland?
The H-1B cap lottery opens in March each year, and USCIS only allows petitions to be filed from April 1 for an October 1 start date. That means you need an offer and a committed employer well before March. If you're on OPT, confirm your OPT expiration date and whether you qualify for a 24-month STEM extension, which can give you more runway to secure a lottery selection before your status expires.
