Verify your ECFMG certification before applying
DermCare Management hires physicians for clinical roles, so ECFMG certification and a valid state medical license are non-negotiable before any sponsorship conversation begins. Gaps in either will stall an H-1B petition before it's filed.
Target locations with active dermatology openings
DermCare Management operates across multiple states, and sponsorship willingness can vary by location based on staffing urgency. Focus your outreach on markets where they're actively recruiting to improve your odds of a sponsorship-backed offer.
Ask recruiters about LCA filing timelines upfront
Before accepting any offer, confirm when your employer plans to file the Labor Condition Application with DOL. For physician roles, LCA certification is a prerequisite to the H-1B petition, and delays here push back your start date.
Understand EB-2 vs EB-3 implications for physicians
DermCare Management sponsors both EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards. Physicians from high-backlog countries should clarify which category the employer intends to file under, since EB-2 and EB-3 priority dates differ significantly and affect your long-term timeline.
Browse Physician roles at DermCare Management on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Physician positions at DermCare Management and confirm current sponsorship activity. Applying through a platform that surfaces verified sponsoring employers saves time you'd otherwise spend vetting each listing manually.
Prepare your J-1 waiver documentation if applicable
Physicians on J-1 visas must complete a waiver before an employer can file an H-1B on their behalf. If you're coming from a residency or fellowship, confirm your waiver status with USCIS early so DermCare Management's legal team can sequence the petition correctly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does DermCare Management sponsor H-1B visas for Physicians?
Yes, DermCare Management sponsors H-1B visas for Physician roles. As a healthcare employer with active clinical hiring, they work with international physicians through the employer-sponsored H-1B process. If you're in a J-1 visa waiver situation or transitioning from another nonimmigrant status, confirm the sequencing of your petition with their HR or legal team before signing an offer.
Which visa types are commonly used for Physician roles at DermCare Management?
Physicians at DermCare Management are most commonly sponsored under the H-1B nonimmigrant visa and, for permanent residence, through EB-2 or EB-3 immigrant visa categories. Physician roles typically qualify as specialty occupations under H-1B standards. For Green Card sponsorship, the pathway usually involves PERM labor certification unless the physician qualifies for a national interest waiver under EB-2.
What qualifications does DermCare Management expect for sponsored Physician roles?
Candidates are expected to hold a medical degree, ECFMG certification if they trained outside the U.S., and an active or pending state medical license in the relevant practice state. Board certification or eligibility in dermatology is typically expected given DermCare Management's specialty focus. Prior clinical experience in an outpatient or dermatology setting strengthens your application significantly.
How do I apply for Physician jobs at DermCare Management?
You can find and apply for open Physician positions at DermCare Management through Migrate Mate, which lists roles by employer and visa sponsorship type. When applying, make sure your CV reflects U.S.-recognized credentials, your license status is current, and you're prepared to confirm your visa situation early in the recruiter screening process.
How do I plan my timeline when pursuing H-1B sponsorship through DermCare Management?
H-1B cap-subject petitions are filed once per year, with the lottery registration window in March and an October 1 start date if selected. If you're already on OPT or another work-authorized status, you may be able to start sooner through a cap-exempt route or concurrent filing. Coordinate your offer acceptance and start date negotiation with DermCare Management's legal team to align with USCIS filing windows.
