Tailor your portfolio to AEC marketing
DLR Group hires Marketing professionals who understand architecture and engineering project cycles. Build portfolio samples around proposals, RFQ responses, or thought leadership content rather than consumer brand work. Industry fluency shortens the sponsorship conversation.
Target roles tied to project pursuits
Marketing positions at DLR Group often support business development and proposal teams across studios. Roles attached to active project pipelines are more likely to move quickly through hiring and carry stronger internal justification for sponsorship.
Address specialty occupation evidence early
H-1B petitions for Marketing roles face higher USCIS scrutiny because the category must qualify as a specialty occupation. Prepare documentation showing your role requires at minimum a bachelor's degree in a specific field like marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
Use Migrate Mate to find open roles
DLR Group posts Marketing roles across multiple studios and markets. Use Migrate Mate to filter open positions by visa sponsorship eligibility so you're only spending time on listings that match your work authorization situation.

Find Marketing at DLR Group JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does DLR Group sponsor H-1B visas for Marketings?
Yes, DLR Group sponsors H-1B visas for Marketing roles. Because Marketing positions must qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, your role will need to demonstrate it requires a specific bachelor's degree or higher. Positions tied to proposal development, brand strategy, or communications tend to meet this threshold more clearly than generalist marketing coordinator roles.
How do I apply for Marketing jobs at DLR Group?
DLR Group posts openings through its careers page, and roles span studios across multiple cities. You can browse Marketing positions filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate, which surfaces only listings relevant to your work authorization. When applying, tailor your materials to AEC industry contexts, particularly proposal writing, client communications, or pursuit strategy, as DLR Group's Marketing function is deeply project-oriented.
Which visa types does DLR Group commonly use for Marketing roles?
DLR Group sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas for Marketing positions. F-1 OPT and CPT are common entry points for recent graduates joining during or after their studies. TN status applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. H-1B is the primary long-term path and requires USCIS approval through the annual lottery.
What qualifications does DLR Group expect for Marketing roles?
Most Marketing roles at DLR Group require a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. Because the firm operates in architecture and engineering, experience with AEC proposal processes, InDesign-based collateral, or technical writing carries significant weight. Candidates who can demonstrate fluency in the project pursuit cycle, from RFQ responses to interview presentations, stand out in a competitive pool.
How do I time my H-1B application if I receive a Marketing offer from DLR Group?
H-1B petitions are filed once per year, with USCIS accepting registrations in March for an October 1 start date. If you receive an offer before the filing window, your employer can submit the petition during the regular cycle. If you're on OPT when the petition is filed, cap-gap rules protect your work authorization through September 30 while USCIS adjudicates. Confirm your OPT expiration date with your DSO as soon as an offer is on the table.
