Verify your clinical credentials transfer correctly
Licensing boards vary by state, and Eating Recovery Center operates across multiple locations. Confirm your foreign clinical credentials are evaluated and recognized in the specific state where you're applying before reaching out to recruiters.
Target roles aligned with your visa classification
Healthcare roles requiring licensure in fields like counseling, dietetics, or nursing fit the specialty occupation standard USCIS applies to H-1B petitions. Focus your application on positions with a clear degree-to-role connection, not general support functions.
Ask about LCA timelines before accepting an offer
Your employer must file a certified Labor Condition Application with the DOL before your H-1B petition reaches USCIS. Ask the hiring team whether they use in-house counsel or an outside firm, since this affects how quickly paperwork moves.
Clarify OPT and CPT eligibility with your DSO early
If you're on F-1 status, confirm your OPT authorization covers the clinical hours and supervision requirements common in eating disorder treatment. Some roles involve structured clinical hours that may affect how your work authorization is classified.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Healthcare roles by visa type
Eating Recovery Center posts Healthcare openings across specialties and locations. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for roles compatible with your visa status so you're only applying where sponsorship is a realistic outcome.
Prepare a PERM-ready employment history before starting
If your goal is a Green Card through EB-2 or EB-3, document your employment history thoroughly from the start. PERM requires the employer to advertise the role at your qualifications level, so gaps or inconsistencies in your record can delay the process significantly.

Does Eating Recovery Center sponsor H-1B visas for Healthcares?
Yes, Eating Recovery Center has a track record of sponsoring H-1B visas for Healthcare roles. Clinical positions that require a specific bachelor's degree or higher, such as licensed counselors, dietitians, or nurses, typically meet the specialty occupation standard USCIS uses to evaluate H-1B eligibility. Your role must have a direct and clear connection to your degree field.
Which visa types are commonly used for Healthcare roles at Eating Recovery Center?
Eating Recovery Center sponsors H-1B visas for licensed clinical roles and has supported EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-term employees. F-1 OPT and CPT are viable entry points for recent graduates in clinical or dietetics programs. TN status is an option for Canadian and Mexican healthcare professionals in qualifying occupational categories under the USMCA agreement.
What qualifications or experience are expected for Healthcare roles at Eating Recovery Center?
Most clinical roles require at minimum a relevant bachelor's degree, with many positions requiring a master's degree or active state licensure in fields like counseling, social work, dietetics, or nursing. Eating disorder-specific experience or training is a meaningful differentiator. For visa purposes, your degree must correspond directly to the role you're applying for, not just to the healthcare field broadly.
How do I apply for Healthcare jobs at Eating Recovery Center?
You can browse current Healthcare openings at Eating Recovery Center through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship compatibility so you can focus on positions where international candidates are realistically considered. When applying, tailor your materials to the specific clinical specialty and include your licensure status and visa situation clearly so recruiters can assess sponsorship feasibility from the start.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship for a Healthcare role?
H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed once per year, with USCIS registration opening in March for an October 1 start date. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT expiration date and whether a cap-gap extension applies. Starting your job search at least six to nine months before your authorization expires gives you enough runway to secure an offer and complete the filing process.
