Target roles that align with H-1B specialty occupation requirements
Eliassen Group's sponsorship history skews toward professional roles in technology, engineering, and life sciences. Focus your search on positions that clearly require a bachelor's degree in a specific field, these are the roles most likely to qualify for H-1B sponsorship.
Understand the staffing model before you apply
As a staffing firm, Eliassen Group places candidates at client sites, not always internal roles. Clarify upfront whether a role is a direct hire or a contract placement, this affects how sponsorship is structured and who ultimately manages your petition.
Ask about Green Card sponsorship early in the process
Eliassen Group has a track record of sponsoring both H-1B and permanent residence pathways. If long-term U.S. stay is your goal, ask your recruiter about EB-2 or EB-3 eligibility during initial conversations, not after an offer is extended.
Leverage your F-1 OPT or CPT status as a starting point
Eliassen Group sponsors F-1 OPT and CPT, which can serve as a bridge to H-1B sponsorship. If you're on OPT, joining through that status and demonstrating strong performance gives you the best foundation to request H-1B support before your OPT expires.
Use Migrate Mate to confirm Eliassen Group's sponsorship history before applying
Staffing firms vary widely in how actively they sponsor visas. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsorship data so you can filter by real filing history, confirming Eliassen Group's track record before investing time in the application process.
Tailor your resume to the client industries Eliassen Group serves
Eliassen Group recruits across technology, financial services, and healthcare verticals. Aligning your resume to one of these industries, and the specific client types they staff, increases your chances of being matched to a role where sponsorship is already an option.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Eliassen Group sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Eliassen Group sponsors H-1B visas. As a staffing and recruiting firm, it has filed H-1B petitions for professionals placed in specialty occupation roles across technology, life sciences, and business consulting. Because sponsorship depends on the specific role and client engagement, it's worth confirming H-1B eligibility directly with your recruiter during the interview process.
What visa types does Eliassen Group sponsor?
Eliassen Group sponsors a range of visa types including H-1B, TN visa, F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT for work authorization, as well as EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for permanent residence. The visa type offered typically depends on your nationality, educational background, and the nature of the role you're being placed into.
What types of roles at Eliassen Group are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Eliassen Group tends to concentrate in roles that meet H-1B specialty occupation standards, primarily technology, engineering, data, and life sciences positions. Contract and consulting placements with clearly defined degree requirements are the strongest candidates. General administrative or non-technical roles are less likely to qualify for sponsorship, so targeting specialized professional positions is the most effective approach.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Eliassen Group?
The most reliable way is to use Migrate Mate, which surfaces verified sponsoring employers and lets you filter by real filing history rather than relying on unverified job postings. Eliassen Group's sponsorship track record is reflected in its profile on Migrate Mate, making it easier to identify which active openings are realistic targets for international candidates seeking H-1B or Green Card support.
How do I approach Eliassen Group as an international candidate to maximize my chances of sponsorship?
Come prepared with a clear understanding of your current visa status and the timeline for when you'll need sponsorship. Eliassen Group's recruiters work on behalf of client companies, so communicating your status early, especially if you're on OPT or approaching H-1B cap season, gives them time to align your placement with a client willing to sponsor. Roles in technology and life sciences offer the most sponsorship pathways.
