Target roles in cybersecurity and identity technology
Entrust's core business is digital security and identity solutions, so engineers, architects, and product specialists in those domains are most likely to be considered for sponsorship. Align your application to their product lines and technical focus areas.
Understand which visa types Entrust supports
Entrust sponsors Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3, and accepts F-1 OPT and TN workers. If you hold an H-1B, note that their recent sponsorship activity has focused on permanent residency rather than nonimmigrant work visas.
Position yourself for a long-term role, not a short-term contract
Entrust's sponsorship profile skews toward Green Card filings, which signals they invest in employees for the long haul. Emphasize career growth, loyalty, and alignment with their mission when applying, they're looking for permanent additions to the team.
Use Migrate Mate to verify Entrust's current openings
Sponsorship eligibility varies by role and hiring cycle. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and confirm which Entrust positions are currently open to international candidates before investing time in applications.
Highlight specialized credentials relevant to identity and security
Entrust operates in a highly specialized segment of the technology industry. Certifications, advanced degrees, or hands-on experience with PKI, HSMs, digital certificates, or identity platforms will strengthen your case for both the role and sponsorship consideration.
Engage with Entrust's recruitment team early in your OPT window
F-1 OPT candidates should reach out well before their work authorization expires. Starting the conversation early gives Entrust's HR team time to assess sponsorship feasibility and initiate any Green Card process before your status becomes a pressing concern.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Entrust sponsor H-1B visas?
Entrust's recent sponsorship activity does not include H-1B visa filings. Their immigration support has focused on Green Card pathways such as EB-2 and EB-3, along with F-1 OPT and TN visa holders. If you're currently on H-1B status and need a transfer, Entrust may not be the right fit at this time, confirm directly with their recruiting team.
What visa types does Entrust sponsor?
Entrust sponsors permanent residency through the EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card categories, and hires candidates on F-1 OPT and TN visas. This profile suggests they're focused on retaining skilled professionals long-term rather than sponsoring temporary nonimmigrant visas. TN visa holders from Canada and Mexico in qualifying technology roles may be particularly well-positioned.
Which departments or roles at Entrust are most likely to receive sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Entrust tends to flow toward technical and specialized roles, particularly in software engineering, cybersecurity, identity and access management, and product development. These functions align with their core business in digital security. Roles that require niche expertise, such as PKI infrastructure or cryptographic systems, are strong candidates for Green Card sponsorship support.
How do I find visa-sponsored jobs at Entrust?
Migrate Mate is the most reliable way to find Entrust job openings that are open to sponsored candidates. It filters by verified sponsorship history so you're not guessing which roles will consider international applicants. Search for Entrust on Migrate Mate, filter by visa type, and apply directly to roles that match your status and background.
How do I prepare for the Green Card sponsorship process at Entrust?
Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 typically requires your employer to file a PERM labor certification before petitioning USCIS on your behalf. The process can take one to several years depending on your priority date and country of birth. Start by securing a full-time role in a qualifying technical position, then discuss long-term sponsorship intent with your hiring manager and HR contact early in your tenure.
