Frame your bilingual skills as loan-ready
First Help Financial serves underbanked communities, so fluency in Spanish or another language is a genuine differentiator for Customer Service roles. Document this formally on your resume and highlight any prior experience explaining financial products to non-native English speakers.
Verify your OPT end date before applying
STEM OPT gives you up to 36 months of work authorization, but Customer Service roles at a financial services company can have multi-round hiring timelines. Confirm your remaining OPT window before submitting so you can flag H-1B sponsorship timing accurately in early conversations.
Target roles aligned with their lending verticals
First Help Financial focuses on indirect auto lending and dealer-facing operations. Customer Service openings tied to loan servicing, payment processing, or dealer support are where they hire most actively. Tailoring your application to those operational areas improves your fit signal significantly.
Ask recruiters about LCA filing timelines directly
For H-1B sponsorship, your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before petitioning USCIS. Ask the hiring team early whether they initiate LCA filings in-house or through outside counsel, so you can gauge realistic start-date expectations before accepting an offer.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active openings by visa type
Customer Service roles at financial services companies with verified sponsorship history can be hard to identify through generic job boards. Search Migrate Mate to filter First Help Financial openings specifically by the visa types they support, so you apply only where sponsorship is a realistic outcome.
Prepare your credential documentation before offer stage
Financial services employers running E-Verify checks need clean, consistent employment authorization documents. Gather your passport, visa stamp, I-94 record, and any OPT or TN documentation before you reach the offer stage to avoid delays that can complicate your start date.

Find Customer Service at First Help Financial JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does First Help Financial sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Service roles?
Yes, First Help Financial has sponsored H-1B visas for Customer Service positions. Sponsorship involves your employer filing a Labor Condition Application with the DOL and then submitting an H-1B petition to USCIS on your behalf. Because H-1B cap-subject petitions are subject to an annual lottery, timing your application and offer relative to the April filing window matters considerably.
Which visa types are commonly used for Customer Service roles at First Help Financial?
First Help Financial has sponsored H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas for Customer Service roles. F-1 OPT is the most accessible entry point for recent graduates, while TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. H-1B sponsorship applies once you've secured an offer and the employer initiates petitioning through USCIS.
What qualifications or experience are expected for Customer Service jobs at First Help Financial?
First Help Financial's Customer Service roles typically require experience in financial services, lending, or loan servicing environments. Familiarity with auto loan processes, payment systems, or dealer-facing operations strengthens your candidacy. Bilingual ability in Spanish is frequently valued given the company's focus on underbanked borrower communities. A background in call center or client-facing financial operations translates well to their hiring criteria.
How do I apply for Customer Service jobs at First Help Financial?
You can browse current Customer Service openings at First Help Financial through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm eligibility before applying. When applying, make your work authorization status and any remaining OPT or TN validity clear in your materials. Highlighting experience with lending, loan servicing, or financial customer support will align your application with their core hiring needs.
How do I plan my timeline when pursuing H-1B sponsorship through First Help Financial?
H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed with USCIS in April for an October 1 start date, meaning you need an offer and a certified LCA from the DOL in place before that window opens. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm that your authorization extends through at least October 1 of the target year. Starting conversations with the hiring team several months before the April deadline gives both sides enough runway to complete the process.
