Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Tax Analyst Jobs at Fitch Ratings Jobs
Align your credentials with U.S. tax standards
CPA licensure or progress toward it signals serious intent to U.S. financial services employers. Fitch's tax team works across international tax and transfer pricing, so coursework or credentials in those areas strengthens your candidacy beyond a general accounting background.
Target roles that match your degree field
H-1B specialty occupation approval depends on your degree directly relating to the role. For Tax Analyst positions, accounting, finance, or taxation degrees map cleanly. A business administration degree without a tax concentration can invite USCIS scrutiny at petition review.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Tax Analyst roles at Fitch
Fitch posts Tax Analyst openings across multiple locations and seniority levels. Migrate Mate filters specifically for visa-sponsoring employers so you're not wasting applications on roles that won't support your status.
Raise sponsorship early in recruiter conversations
Financial services firms like Fitch route international candidates through HR compliance before extending offers. Confirming visa type and timeline requirements in the first recruiter call prevents late-stage delays when the offer letter is already drafted.

Find Tax Analyst at Fitch Ratings JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Fitch Ratings sponsor H-1B visas for Tax Analysts?
Yes, Fitch Ratings sponsors H-1B visas for Tax Analyst roles. As a global financial services firm, Fitch has established immigration infrastructure and works with outside counsel to file H-1B petitions for qualified candidates. Because Tax Analyst roles require a degree-specific relationship to the position, applicants should ensure their academic background in accounting, finance, or taxation is well documented before the petition is filed.
How do I apply for Tax Analyst jobs at Fitch Ratings?
Applications go through Fitch's careers portal, where Tax Analyst roles are listed by location and team. Roles span corporate tax, transfer pricing, and tax reporting functions. You can also browse open Tax Analyst positions at Fitch that are verified for visa sponsorship on Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles specifically suited to international candidates and filters by visa type.
Which visa types does Fitch Ratings commonly use for Tax Analyst roles?
Fitch sponsors several visa categories for Tax Analysts, including H-1B, E-3 (for Australian citizens), TN (for Canadian and Mexican nationals), and F-1 OPT and CPT for students already authorized to work. For longer-term permanent residence, Fitch has supported EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through DOL PERM labor certification for eligible Tax Analyst employees.
What qualifications does Fitch Ratings expect for Tax Analyst candidates?
Fitch typically looks for a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, taxation, or finance, with strong technical knowledge in areas like tax provision under ASC 740, international tax compliance, or transfer pricing. CPA licensure or active candidacy is valued. Experience with large ERP systems and exposure to cross-border tax structures is relevant given Fitch's global operations across multiple jurisdictions.
How do I time my application around H-1B cap deadlines as a Tax Analyst?
USCIS opens H-1B registration each March for an October 1 start date. If you're on F-1 OPT, your employer must file before your OPT expires. Tax Analyst hiring at financial services firms often picks up in the first quarter, which aligns well with the March registration window. Starting conversations with recruiters in January gives enough runway to get an offer and complete the registration before the deadline.
