ROLE DESCRIPTION
Form Energy is seeking a powerhouse Staff Program Manager to serve as the primary orchestrator for our global supply chain as we enter our defining 2026 Launch Year. You will report directly to the VP of Supply Chain and serve as the interface between Engineering, Operations, Advanced Manufacturing, Finance, and the Executive PMO. You are responsible for driving plan creation, aligning the players, and ensuring the flawless execution of a complex, multi-gigawatt manufacturing supply chain. You are uncomfortable with the status quo and are constantly looking for ways to automate the mundane so you can tackle the next big bottleneck.
Relocation assistance is available.
What you'll do:
- Orchestrate the Launch & Ramp: Own the end-to-end supply chain execution plan for launch and scale up.
- You will drive excellence across workstreams, ensuring that Manufacturing Operations and Engineering are in perfect lockstep with sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate closely with your Supply Chain team members, including Global Supply Managers, Supplier Industrialization Engineers, Material Planners, and Logistics Managers across all commodities on behalf of Supply Chain leadership.
- Strategic Scenario Modeling: Design and execute complex supply/demand scenarios to inform ramp scenarios, identifying bottlenecks in raw materials or CAPEX long before they impact the line.
- Make vs. Buy Engineering: Develop comprehensive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models. You will work with cross-functional leaders to develop the "source-of-truth" recommendations to the executive team on whether we vertically integrate or partner with our global supply base.
- Drive the Product Development Process (PDP): Establish and enforce best practices for supply chain readiness within the PDP, ensuring that every component and supplier is qualified and ready for commercial scale.
- AI-Accelerated Workflows: Leverage AI and LLM tools to automate workflows.
- Executive Interface: Facilitate key technical and strategic decisions, bringing together engineering and executive stakeholders to maintain program momentum and solve "unsolvable" bottlenecks.
What you'll bring:
- 7+ years of experience in Program Management, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Operations within a high-growth hardware environment (EV, Aerospace, or Robotics).
- Proficient knowledge of technical requirements, designs and manufacturing processes of energy products and be able to influence cross-functional partners with detailed analysis that supports optimized process and product sourcing decisions.
- Experience with mechanical engineering concepts related to the commodity and ability to generate bottom-up should costs based on the understanding of the manufacturing process.
- Technical & commercial understanding of tooling and manufacturing processes on metal forming.
- Executive Presence: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical risks and strategic recommendations to the VP and Executive Team.
- You thrive in high-intensity “launch year” conditions, operating effectively amid ambiguity, making decisions with imperfect information, and driving progress where urgency is constant and impact is lasting.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Program Management, or similar discipline.

Align your credentials to hardware manufacturing
Form Energy's Supply Chain roles sit inside a hardware-first company building novel battery technology. Certifications in procurement, logistics, or operations management strengthen your profile specifically for manufacturing-adjacent supply chain work, not just general ops.
Search for roles using verified sponsorship data
Use Migrate Mate to filter Supply Chain openings at Form Energy by visa type before applying. This saves time by confirming which specific roles have a sponsorship pathway before you invest in tailoring your application.
Target roles requiring ITAR compliance familiarity
Energy storage hardware often intersects with export control regulations. Mentioning ITAR awareness or experience sourcing controlled components signals readiness for Form Energy's operational environment and can differentiate your application from candidates without hardware backgrounds.
Request H-1B sponsorship before the April filing window
USCIS opens H-1B registration in March each year with an April 1 start date for cap-subject petitions. If you receive an offer from Form Energy in late winter, confirm sponsorship intent immediately so the employer has time to register you before the window closes.
Verify your OPT or CPT timeline against Form Energy's hiring cycle
Form Energy sponsors F-1 OPT and CPT, but supply chain roles often have multi-month onboarding tied to production schedules. Check that your remaining authorized work period covers the full expected start date plus a buffer for STEM OPT extension filing if applicable.
Document supplier management experience in concrete outputs
Form Energy's supply chain positions frequently involve managing vendor qualification and component sourcing for early-stage manufacturing. Frame your resume around measurable outcomes like lead time reductions or supplier qualification cycles, not just job duties, to pass initial screening for these roles.

Find Supply Chain at Form Energy JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Form Energy sponsor H-1B visas for Supply Chains?
Yes, Form Energy sponsors H-1B visas for Supply Chain roles. If you receive an offer, the company's HR team will coordinate the petition process with immigration counsel. Because H-1B cap-subject petitions follow USCIS's annual registration window opening in March, timing your offer and acceptance ahead of that window matters if you need initial cap sponsorship rather than a transfer.
How do I apply for Supply Chain jobs at Form Energy?
You can browse and apply for Supply Chain roles at Form Energy directly through Migrate Mate, which surfaces verified sponsorship-eligible openings filtered by visa type. Applications typically require a resume tailored to hardware manufacturing or energy sector supply chain work. Form Energy's hiring process for these roles usually includes a recruiter screen, technical or case-based interviews, and a final panel focused on cross-functional collaboration and operational judgment.
Which visa types does Form Energy commonly use for Supply Chain roles?
Form Energy sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT for Supply Chain positions, and supports EB-2 and EB-3 green card pathways for longer-term employment. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupations. F-1 OPT and CPT are frequently used by recent graduates entering supply chain analyst or operations roles before transitioning to H-1B sponsorship.
What qualifications does Form Energy expect for Supply Chain roles?
Most Supply Chain roles at Form Energy require a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, operations, or a related field, with practical experience in procurement, vendor management, or logistics. Roles tied to battery or hardware manufacturing often prioritize familiarity with sourcing in capital-intensive industries. Advanced degrees or certifications such as APICS CSCP can strengthen an application, particularly for senior or strategic sourcing positions.
How do I time my application around visa sponsorship processing at Form Energy?
If you're on F-1 OPT, verify that your work authorization end date gives enough runway for USCIS to process a STEM OPT extension or H-1B petition before your status lapses. For H-1B cap-subject cases, USCIS requires registration in March and petitions begin October 1, so offers accepted after April may carry a several-month gap. Raising sponsorship timing early in the offer conversation helps both sides plan accurately.
