Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Procurement Jobs at Form Energy Jobs
Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
Form Energy's Procurement roles involve sourcing engineered components for long-duration battery systems. USCIS requires a direct connection between your degree field and the role, so frame supply chain or materials engineering credentials around hardware procurement specifically, not general purchasing.
Target Form Energy's supplier development openings
Form Energy hires Procurement professionals who can qualify new vendors for novel electrochemical materials. Roles tied to supplier qualification and engineering sourcing are harder to fill domestically, which strengthens the sponsorship case and makes them more likely to support visa filing.
Browse open Procurement roles through Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters Form Energy's Procurement listings by visa type, so you can confirm which roles are actively open to sponsored candidates before applying. This saves time and surfaces the specific positions most relevant to your status.
Secure your documents before the LCA stage
Your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with DOL before submitting your H-1B petition. Have your degree transcripts, credential evaluations for foreign degrees, and offer letter finalized early so this step doesn't become a bottleneck in your start date.
Negotiate your start date around H-1B cap timelines
If you're subject to the H-1B cap, USCIS only allows an October 1 start date for lottery selections. Build this into your offer negotiation with Form Energy's recruiting team early so both sides plan around the same timeline rather than discovering it at the offer stage.
Use CPT or OPT roles to build a transfer case
If you're currently on F-1 status, starting in a Procurement internship or co-op role at Form Energy on CPT gives you documented employer experience. That track record strengthens an H-1B petition and puts you in a stronger position when cap season opens.

Find Procurement at Form Energy JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Form Energy sponsor H-1B visas for Procurements?
Yes, Form Energy sponsors H-1B visas for Procurement roles. The company operates in the Electronics and Hardware sector, sourcing components for long-duration battery technology, and these roles typically meet USCIS specialty occupation standards when tied to engineered materials sourcing or supplier development. Your degree field should connect directly to the specific Procurement function you're applying for.
How do I apply for Procurement jobs at Form Energy?
You can find Form Energy's open Procurement positions on Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship eligibility so you can see which roles are open to international candidates. From there, you apply directly through Form Energy's careers portal. Tailor your application to highlight hardware sourcing experience, supplier qualification work, or materials procurement in a manufacturing or energy context.
Which visa types does Form Energy commonly use for Procurement roles?
Form Energy sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card pathways for eligible Procurement candidates. TN visas are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. OPT and CPT are common entry points for students who later transition to H-1B sponsorship. Green Card sponsorship through PERM typically comes after an initial work visa period.
What qualifications does Form Energy expect for Procurement roles?
Form Energy's Procurement positions typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in supply chain management, materials science, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field. Experience with strategic sourcing, vendor qualification, or hardware component procurement is valued, particularly in manufacturing or energy storage environments. Roles involving engineered or custom-spec components are more likely to meet USCIS specialty occupation requirements for H-1B sponsorship.
How do I plan my timeline for visa sponsorship at Form Energy?
If you need H-1B sponsorship, start your job search before the April lottery registration window, which opens in March each year. Form Energy would need to register you before the deadline, with a potential October 1 start date if selected. For TN or OPT transitions, timelines are faster since those categories aren't subject to the cap. Confirm your visa type and status with Form Energy's HR team as early as the offer stage.
