Target engineering and operations roles
FORTNA's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical and operational disciplines tied to logistics automation and systems integration. Focus your applications on roles where your engineering or technical background directly supports their manufacturing and supply chain work.
Understand that FORTNA leans toward Green Card sponsorship
FORTNA's sponsorship history skews heavily toward permanent residence pathways rather than temporary work visas. If you're on OPT or CPT and need a long-term immigration solution, this makes FORTNA a particularly strong fit for your career planning.
Highlight relevant technical credentials early
FORTNA sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 categories, both of which require demonstrated professional qualifications. Lead with your degree, professional experience, and any specialized certifications in your resume and cover letter to align with their sponsorship criteria from the start.
Canadian candidates should flag TN eligibility
FORTNA sponsors TN visas, making them accessible for Canadian professionals in qualifying USMCA occupations like engineering. If you're Canadian and your role falls under TN-eligible categories, mention your TN eligibility explicitly, it simplifies the sponsorship process for both sides.
Engage during OPT or CPT, not after it expires
FORTNA has sponsored F-1 OPT and CPT candidates, but timing matters. Start your application process while your work authorization is active, not in your final weeks. A proactive timeline gives FORTNA room to initiate a Green Card process before your status becomes urgent.
Use Migrate Mate to confirm FORTNA's open sponsored roles
Not every FORTNA job listing will mention visa sponsorship upfront. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and find FORTNA roles where international candidates have a genuine path to support.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does FORTNA sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, FORTN visaA does not have a track record of sponsoring H-1B visas. Their immigration support is focused on Green Card pathways, specifically EB-2 and EB-3, along with TN visas for Canadian professionals and F-1 OPT and CPT for students. If H-1B visa sponsorship is a requirement for you, clarify this directly with FORTN visaA's recruiting team before investing in the application process.
What visa types does FORTNA sponsor?
FORTNA sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, TN visas for Canadian nationals in qualifying occupations, and F-1 OPT and CPT for students on active work authorization. Their sponsorship is oriented toward permanent residence rather than temporary nonimmigrant status, which makes them a strong long-term option for international professionals in logistics, engineering, and supply chain roles.
Which roles at FORTNA are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
FORTNA's sponsored roles tend to cluster in technical and engineering disciplines that support logistics automation, systems integration, and supply chain operations. Positions in software engineering, mechanical engineering, controls engineering, and project management align most closely with their sponsorship history. Roles requiring advanced degrees are more likely to qualify for EB-2 sponsorship, while others may fall under EB-3.
How do I find open roles at FORTNA that include visa sponsorship?
Not every job posting at FORTNA explicitly states whether sponsorship is available for that specific role. Migrate Mate tracks verified sponsorship data by employer, so you can browse FORTNA's open positions with confidence that their immigration support is documented and current. Start there to identify roles where international candidates have a realistic path forward.
How do I approach the Green Card process timeline when applying to FORTNA?
Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 is a multi-step process that typically takes years from PERM labor certification to final approval, depending on your country of birth and priority date. Start conversations about sponsorship early in the interview process, not after you receive an offer. Confirming FORTNA's willingness and internal process upfront helps you plan around your current work authorization timeline without gaps.
