The Energy Outreach Coordinator will work directly with end users to document energy efficient equipment upgrades (i.e. lighting, HVAC, motors, controls) within Frontier Energy’s Texas service area. This role will require regular travel and may require multiple days in the field. The Energy Outreach Coordinator will process energy efficiency rebates and communicate regularly with customers and contractors while building and maintaining professional relationships to continuously bring in new projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in person and virtual outreach to secure new program participants
- Work directly with end use customers and trade allies to identify, calculate, and communicate energy conservation opportunities
- Coordinate and conduct facility site visits and energy audits
- Conduct pre- and post-verification site visits at project sites to validate project completion
- Provide periodic reports of key metrics to program leads regarding project status and/or outreach performance, such as participation rates, stakeholder feedback, and outreach effectiveness
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction through regular communication and program delivery
- Identify barriers to participation and develop successful, community-relevant resolutions
- Regularly travel to customer sites throughout Frontier Energy’s Texas service area
- Other activities related to energy conservation, analysis, reporting, and customer service as requested
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED (General Educational Development) equivalent
- 1-2 years of work experience in a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences both face to face and virtually
- Adaptive learner with a high level of creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- This position will require the candidate to commute to client sites
