As part of our legal team, you will do varied, meaningful work from the start: negotiating agreements, researching legal and regulatory issues, supporting audits, and advising on business projects. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide legal counsel, support, and guidance on applicable federal and state laws and regulations
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor contracts and non-disclosure agreements
- Review marketing materials, social media postings, and customer communications for compliance with applicable laws
- Conduct legal research and advise the business on regulatory compliance matters in connection with ongoing business projects and initiatives
- Respond to regulatory and customer audits
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and customer needs
- Monitor new legislative and regulatory requirements
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- JD from an accredited law school
- Member in good standing of at least one state bar
- 2-5 years legal experience at a law firm, regulatory agency or in-house legal department, doing progressively more challenging work
- Inclusive and open mindset
- Strong prioritization, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Team player, dedicated to maintaining meaningful collaborative relationships with both internal and external constituencies
