Target roles that align with H-1B specialty occupation requirements
Gleeds sponsors professionals in consulting and project management disciplines requiring specialized degrees. Focus your application on roles where your field of study directly matches the job, quantity surveying, cost management, and project controls are strong fits.
Understand that Gleeds sponsors selectively, not broadly
Gleeds is not a high-volume sponsor, so competition for sponsored roles is real. Prioritize quality over quantity in your application, a tailored resume and strong technical portfolio will carry more weight than a generic submission.
Highlight international project experience in your application
As a global consultancy, Gleeds values candidates who've worked across borders or on complex infrastructure projects. Lead with international experience in your resume and cover letter to signal cultural fit and technical depth relevant to their client base.
Know that H-1B1 sponsorship signals openness to specific nationalities
Gleeds sponsors the H-1B1 visa, which is available only to Chilean and Singaporean nationals. If you hold citizenship from either country, this is a meaningful advantage, the H-1B1 bypasses the lottery entirely and can move faster than a standard H-1B.
Apply early to align with H-1B lottery timelines
H-1B registration opens in March each year, with employment typically starting October 1. Engaging with Gleeds several months before the registration window gives both sides time to assess fit before the employer commits to sponsorship paperwork.
Use Migrate Mate to find open roles with verified sponsorship history
Not every job posting makes sponsorship eligibility clear. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your search on employers like Gleeds that have an actual track record of filing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Gleeds sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Gleeds sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying roles in its consulting and professional services operations in the United States. Sponsorship is selective rather than broad, so roles most likely to qualify are those requiring a specialized degree in a field like engineering, construction management, or cost consulting. Applicants should confirm sponsorship eligibility directly with Gleeds during the hiring process.
What visa types does Gleeds sponsor?
Gleeds sponsors both the H-1B and the H-1B1 visa. The H-1B is open to workers of any nationality in specialty occupations, while the H-1B1 is an H-1B variant available exclusively to Chilean and Singaporean nationals. It operates outside the annual lottery, which can make the process more straightforward for eligible applicants targeting Gleeds.
Which departments or roles at Gleeds are most likely to be sponsored?
Gleeds is a construction and property consultancy, so sponsored roles tend to sit in technical disciplines, cost management, quantity surveying, project monitoring, and advisory services. These roles typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in a closely related field, which satisfies the specialty occupation standard USCIS uses to evaluate H-1B petitions.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Gleeds?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find roles at companies with a verified sponsorship history like Gleeds. You can filter by employer and visa type to surface active openings where sponsorship is genuinely on the table, saving time compared to sifting through postings that don't disclose immigration support upfront.
How do I time my application to Gleeds around the H-1B process?
The H-1B lottery registration window opens each March, with approved workers beginning employment on October 1. To align with this cycle, aim to have an offer and start the sponsorship conversation with Gleeds by January or February at the latest. Starting the conversation early gives both you and the employer enough runway to complete the LCA filing and petition preparation before the registration deadline.
