Job Roles at Golub Capital Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Golub Capital Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles in credit and investment operations
Golub Capital's core business is credit investing, so roles in credit analysis, portfolio management, and financial operations are most likely to attract sponsorship consideration. Align your application materials closely with the firm's lending and asset management focus.
Highlight specialized financial expertise early
Asset management firms sponsor when they can't easily find domestic talent. If you have deep expertise in leveraged finance, direct lending, or credit markets, lead with that in your resume and cover letter to signal you bring rare, high-demand skills.
Understand Golub Capital's selective sponsorship approach
Golub Capital sponsors a focused number of visa holders rather than hiring at volume. This means each sponsored role is a deliberate decision, so targeting positions where your skills are genuinely differentiated improves your chances significantly.
Prepare for a structured interview process
Investment and asset management firms typically run multi-round technical interviews assessing financial modeling, credit analysis, and market knowledge. Preparing rigorously for case studies and technical screens signals readiness for the firm's high-performance culture.
Know which visa types the firm supports
Golub Capital sponsors H-1B and Green Card pathways, and accepts F-1 OPT and TN candidates. Confirming your visa type aligns before applying saves time. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and avoid guesswork.
Apply during peak hiring cycles in asset management
Financial services firms including Golub Capital tend to recruit most actively in late summer and early fall for analyst and associate roles. Timing your application to these windows increases your visibility and the likelihood of being considered for sponsored positions.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Golub Capital sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Golub Capital sponsors H-1B visas for qualified candidates in roles that require specialized expertise, particularly within its credit and investment operations. Sponsorship is selective rather than broad, so candidates with differentiated skills in areas like direct lending, credit analysis, or financial modeling are best positioned. Confirming sponsorship availability directly with the recruiting team during early conversations is advisable.
What visa types does Golub Capital sponsor?
Golub Capital sponsors H-1B visas and supports Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 categories. The firm also accepts candidates on F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN status, giving it reasonable flexibility across common work authorization types. Coverage of E-3 visas for Australian nationals has not been part of the firm's recent sponsorship activity.
Which departments or roles at Golub Capital are most likely to be sponsored?
Sponsorship at Golub Capital tends to concentrate in roles requiring specialized financial knowledge, such as credit analysis, portfolio management, investment research, and fund operations. The firm's core business as a credit-focused asset manager means technical finance and investment roles carry the strongest case for sponsorship compared to more general corporate functions.
How do I find open sponsored roles at Golub Capital?
Migrate Mate is the most efficient way to find verified sponsored positions at Golub Capital. The platform filters job listings by real sponsorship history, so you can confirm the firm actively sponsors your visa type before investing time in an application. Combining that with direct monitoring of Golub Capital's careers page gives you the best coverage of new openings.
How do I approach the application timeline if I need sponsorship at Golub Capital?
If you're targeting H-1B sponsorship, timing matters. H-1B petitions must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start, so working backward, you'd ideally receive an offer by early winter. For candidates on OPT, confirming your OPT expiration date before accepting a role ensures the employer has enough runway to file. Raising sponsorship needs early in conversations prevents misaligned expectations on both sides.
