Job Roles at Deckers Outdoor
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Deckers Outdoor Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target corporate and technical roles first
Deckers Outdoor's Green Card sponsorship tends to concentrate in corporate functions like technology, product design, and supply chain rather than retail operations. Prioritizing these departments gives you the strongest chance of landing a sponsored role.
Confirm sponsorship willingness before applying
Not every open role at Deckers Outdoor comes with Green Card sponsorship. Ask recruiters directly during early conversations, and use Migrate Mate to filter by verified sponsorship history so you're only spending time on roles that qualify.
Build your case around specialized expertise
Deckers Outdoor is more likely to initiate Green Card sponsorship for candidates with specialized skills that are hard to source domestically. Emphasizing niche expertise in footwear innovation, supply chain technology, or retail analytics strengthens your sponsorship case.
Understand the PERM labor certification timeline
Green Card sponsorship through Deckers Outdoor typically begins with PERM labor certification, which can take a year or more before the petition is even filed. Starting conversations about sponsorship early in your employment reduces timeline surprises.
Research Deckers Outdoor's actual sponsorship track record
Before applying, verify that Deckers Outdoor has a genuine pattern of Green Card filings in your target department. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history rather than relying on job description language alone.

Does Deckers Outdoor sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Deckers Outdoor does sponsor Green Card visas for qualifying employees, primarily in corporate, technical, and specialized professional roles. Sponsorship is not offered across all positions and is typically reserved for roles where the company has difficulty finding qualified U.S. workers, so targeting the right department matters.
Which roles and departments at Deckers Outdoor are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Deckers Outdoor is most common in functions like information technology, product development, supply chain management, and corporate finance. Retail and store-level positions rarely qualify. Roles requiring specialized knowledge of footwear design, global logistics, or enterprise software tend to be the strongest candidates for employer-sponsored permanent residence.
How does the Green Card application process work at Deckers Outdoor?
Deckers Outdoor typically sponsors Green Cards through the EB-2 or EB-3 employment-based categories, starting with PERM labor certification filed with the Department of Labor. Once certified, the company files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. You then either adjust status inside the U.S. or go through consular processing, depending on your current visa status and priority date availability.
How long does the Green Card process take when sponsored by Deckers Outdoor?
The timeline varies significantly depending on your country of birth and the visa category used. PERM labor certification alone can take one to two years, followed by USCIS petition processing. For nationals of India or China, priority date backlogs in the EB-2 and EB-3 categories can extend the total wait by years beyond that. Starting early is critical.
How do I improve my chances of getting Green Card sponsorship at Deckers Outdoor?
Apply to roles in departments with a documented history of Green Card filings and be transparent about your sponsorship needs early in the hiring process. Migrate Mate can help you identify which roles at Deckers Outdoor have genuine sponsorship backing. Once hired, consistently strong performance and specialized contributions make it easier to make the business case for your permanent residence sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Deckers Outdoor?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
