Match your role to the right EB pathway
Fleet Services by Cox Automotive files under both EB-2 and EB-3, so your classification depends on your role's degree requirements. Technical positions with specialized engineering or analytics functions often qualify for EB-2, while operational and field roles typically fall under EB-3 PERM.
Prepare your credentials before the PERM audit
PERM labor certification requires your employer to document that no qualified U.S. worker is available for your role. Gather your transcripts, professional certifications, and employment history now so your records are audit-ready if DOL requests additional documentation during the recruitment process.
Understand the prevailing wage requirement for your title
Before your offer is finalized, look up your job title using the OFLC Wage Search to confirm the prevailing wage for your location. Fleet services and telecommunications roles are benchmarked to specific wage levels, and your offered salary must meet the DOL-certified level to proceed.
Use Migrate Mate to identify active Green Card sponsors in fleet and telecom
Search Migrate Mate to filter employers with verified EB-2 and EB-3 LCA filing history in fleet services and telecommunications. This lets you target companies with documented sponsorship activity rather than relying on job postings that rarely specify Green Card eligibility upfront.
Target roles where your O*NET classification supports EB-2
Use O*NET to confirm your occupation's typical education and training requirements before applying. If your role falls under a Job Zone 4 or 5 classification in telecommunications or fleet operations, it strengthens your EB-2 eligibility and reduces the risk of a PERM downgrade during adjudication.
Align your job search timing with PERM processing realities
PERM certification currently takes many months from filing to approval, and that timeline doesn't begin until after your offer is accepted and your employer completes the mandatory recruitment steps. Factor this into conversations with hiring managers so both parties enter the process with realistic expectations.
Fleet Services by Cox Automotive Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Fleet Services by Cox Automotive sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Fleet Services by Cox Automotive sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying roles in telecommunications and fleet operations. The company files under both EB-2 and EB-3 preference categories, with sponsorship typically initiated after a candidate establishes themselves in an H-1B visa role and demonstrates a long-term fit within the organization.
Which roles at Fleet Services by Cox Automotive are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Fleet Services by Cox Automotive tends to concentrate in technical and specialized roles, including software engineers, data analysts, network technicians, and fleet systems professionals. Roles requiring a specific bachelor's degree or advanced specialization in telecommunications are more commonly routed through EB-2, while broader operational positions typically go through EB-3.
How do I start the Green Card process at Fleet Services by Cox Automotive?
The process begins internally, typically after you're on an H-1B and your manager or HR team initiates a sponsorship review. PERM labor certification is filed with DOL first, followed by an I-140 petition with USCIS. You'll want to align with your HR team early to understand your company's internal timeline and documentation requirements.
How long does the Green Card process take at Fleet Services by Cox Automotive?
The timeline depends on your preference category and country of birth. PERM certification alone can take many months, and I-140 approval adds additional time. For EB-3 applicants from high-demand countries, priority date backlogs can extend the overall process significantly. Checking the USCIS Visa Bulletin regularly helps you track your place in the queue.
How do I find open Green Card sponsorship jobs at Fleet Services by Cox Automotive?
Migrate Mate filters job listings by verified Green Card sponsorship history, so you can identify Fleet Services by Cox Automotive roles tied to active EB-2 or EB-3 filings rather than guessing from generic job postings. Targeting roles in telecommunications or fleet technology gives you the strongest overlap with the company's documented sponsorship patterns.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Fleet Services by Cox Automotive?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
