Target roles in Kroll's core practice areas
Kroll's Green Card sponsorship tends to concentrate in specialized functions like valuation, financial risk advisory, and cybersecurity. Focusing your application on these practice areas gives you a stronger chance of landing a role where sponsorship is more routinely offered.
Raise Green Card early in the offer conversation
Don't wait until you have an offer to ask about Green Card sponsorship. During later-stage interviews, ask directly whether the role supports permanent residency. In investment and asset management, firms expect candidates to understand the immigration process.
Understand the PERM process before your interview
Kroll's Green Card process typically starts with PERM labor certification, which requires the employer to demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers are available. Knowing this process signals seriousness to hiring managers and immigration teams in professional services environments.
Demonstrate specialized expertise that's hard to replace
Green Card sponsorship at firms like Kroll is most likely for candidates with highly specific credentials, such as CFA designation, forensic accounting expertise, or niche risk modeling skills. The stronger your case for being uniquely qualified, the more willing employers are to sponsor.
Filter for verified Green Card sponsors before applying
Not every open role at Kroll will come with Green Card support. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your applications on positions where permanent residency is a realistic outcome.
Build tenure before expecting sponsorship to begin
Many professional services firms, including those in investment advisory, prefer to initiate Green Card sponsorship after an employee has demonstrated performance over time. Starting strong, earning visibility, and expressing long-term commitment early helps accelerate that decision internally.
Kroll Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Kroll sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Kroll does sponsor Green Card visas for qualifying employees. Sponsorship is not offered for every role and tends to be reserved for specialized professionals in areas like financial risk advisory, valuation, and cybersecurity. Candidates are typically expected to have demonstrated strong performance in their role before the process begins.
Which roles and departments at Kroll are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Kroll is most commonly associated with technical and specialized roles across valuation services, corporate finance, cyber risk, and disputes and investigations. Senior analysts, managers, and professionals with domain-specific credentials in investment and asset management tend to be the strongest candidates for sponsorship consideration.
How does the Green Card application process work at Kroll?
Kroll's Green Card process generally follows the employer-sponsored pathway, starting with PERM labor certification through the Department of Labor, followed by an I-140 immigrant petition filed with USCIS. Once the petition is approved, the timeline to a Green Card depends on your country of birth and the applicable employment-based preference category.
How long does it take to get a Green Card through Kroll?
The timeline varies significantly depending on your country of birth and the visa category used. For applicants born in countries without significant visa backlogs, the process from PERM filing to Green Card approval can take two to four years. Applicants born in high-demand countries like India may face substantially longer waits due to annual visa caps.
How do I find Green Card jobs at Kroll through Migrate Mate?
Migrate Mate lets you search for open roles at verified Green Card sponsors, including Kroll, so you can filter opportunities by real sponsorship history rather than relying on job descriptions that may not mention immigration support. Searching by company and visa type helps you prioritize applications where permanent residency sponsorship is a documented practice.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Kroll?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
