Target corporate roles over store positions
Sally Beauty's Green Card filings concentrate in corporate functions like supply chain, IT, finance, and merchandising rather than store-level retail jobs. Focus your application on Sally Beauty's headquarters and regional support teams, where PERM sponsorship is a documented practice.
Understand which EB category applies to you
Most Sally Beauty corporate roles fall under EB-3 for professionals, requiring a bachelor's degree and PERM labor certification. EB-2 applies if your role demands an advanced degree or exceptional qualifications. Clarify your category early, since PERM requirements and timelines differ significantly between them.
Document your credentials before the PERM recruitment phase
PERM requires Sally Beauty to advertise your role and confirm no qualified U.S. workers are available. Have your degree evaluations, transcripts, and credential equivalencies ready before this phase begins, so delays in your documentation don't stall the employer's recruitment window.
Align your role title with DOL prevailing wage standards
Sally Beauty must pay you the prevailing wage for your specific job title and location under PERM rules. Use the OFLC Wage Search to verify the wage level for your occupation before salary negotiations, so you enter the offer process knowing what DOL will require your employer to certify.
Use Migrate Mate to find Sally Beauty Green Card job openings
Searching for Sally Beauty roles that come with Green Card sponsorship is easier when you can filter by visa type and employer history. Migrate Mate surfaces Sally Beauty's sponsored roles by occupation and filing history, so you're applying to positions where sponsorship is already an established practice.
Get written sponsorship intent before accepting an offer
Sally Beauty's HR team initiates PERM, and the timeline from offer to Green Card approval typically spans several years. Before accepting an offer, confirm in writing that the company will initiate PERM sponsorship and ask whether they use outside immigration counsel to manage USCIS filings.
