Job Roles at STARS Behavioral Health Group
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in STARS Behavioral Health Group Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target clinical and licensed roles first
STARS Behavioral Health Group's Green Card sponsorship concentrates in clinical positions requiring specialized credentials. Roles like licensed therapists, behavioral health specialists, and case managers are most likely to qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship based on the company's filing history.
Understand the government-sector hiring timeline
As a government and public sector organization, STARS operates within structured hiring cycles. Budget approvals and contract timelines influence when sponsorship decisions are made, so expect a longer internal process compared to private employers before a Green Card petition is initiated.
Ask about sponsorship intent during the offer stage
Green Card sponsorship commitments are best confirmed before signing an offer. Ask HR directly whether the specific role has a history of sponsorship and whether the company covers PERM labor certification and petition filing costs on the employee's behalf.
Align your credentials with their EB-2 or EB-3 pathway
STARS sponsors both EB-2 and EB-3 categories. If you hold a master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field, you may qualify for EB-2. A bachelor's degree with relevant experience typically fits the EB-3 path. Match your qualifications to the correct category early.
Search for verified sponsorship openings before applying
Not every STARS posting will mention Green Card sponsorship explicitly. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you identify which STARS roles are worth pursuing without guessing from the job description alone.
Build tenure before the PERM process begins
STARS typically sponsors Green Cards for employees who have demonstrated commitment to their programs. Joining in a role eligible for F-1 OPT or TN status first, then transitioning to permanent residency, is a practical path many international hires at the company follow.

Does STARS Behavioral Health Group sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, STARS Behavioral Health Group sponsors Green Card visas. The company has filed Green Card petitions for employees, primarily in clinical and behavioral health roles. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every position, so it's worth confirming with the hiring team whether the specific role you're applying for is eligible before accepting an offer.
Which roles at STARS Behavioral Health Group are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Sponsorship at STARS Behavioral Health Group is most common in licensed clinical positions, including therapists, behavioral health counselors, and case managers. Roles requiring specialized credentials in community mental health or public sector behavioral services tend to be stronger candidates for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship than administrative or support positions.
How do I navigate the Green Card application process at STARS Behavioral Health Group?
The process typically begins after you've established yourself in a qualifying role. STARS would initiate PERM labor certification with the Department of Labor, followed by an I-140 immigrant petition filed with USCIS. Your priority date is then set based on your country of birth and the applicable visa bulletin. Working with the company's immigration counsel throughout is strongly advised.
How long does the Green Card process take at STARS Behavioral Health Group?
Timeline depends on your country of birth and the visa category. For applicants born outside high-demand countries, the EB-3 path can take two to five years from PERM filing to approval. Applicants born in India or China face significantly longer waits due to visa backlogs. Starting the process early in your employment is important regardless of your background.
How do I find Green Card jobs at STARS Behavioral Health Group?
Migrate Mate is a useful starting point because it filters job listings by verified sponsorship history, including Green Card filings. This helps you identify which STARS Behavioral Health Group postings come from a company with a documented sponsorship track record, saving time compared to manually researching each listing or relying on job descriptions that rarely confirm sponsorship explicitly.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at STARS Behavioral Health Group?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
