Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
H-1B eligibility at a healthcare employer like Hshs Medical Group requires your role to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards. Review O*NET profiles for your target job title to confirm the degree requirements match before applying.
Target clinical departments with documented sponsorship history
Hshs Medical Group's H-1B filings concentrate in clinical and patient-care roles rather than administrative positions. Focus your applications on physician, advanced practice, and allied health openings where the employer has demonstrated willingness to sponsor international candidates.
Search open H-1B roles using Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters job listings by verified H-1B sponsorship history, so you can find Hshs Medical Group openings where sponsorship is actively on offer rather than guessing from generic job boards that don't disclose employer immigration track records.
Verify prevailing wage before salary negotiations begin
Before your offer stage, look up your role's prevailing wage using the OFLC Wage Search. Hshs Medical Group must pay at least the DOL-determined wage for your job title and location, so knowing the floor protects you and signals preparation to the hiring team.
Confirm your employer's E-Verify enrollment early
Healthcare employers subject to federal contracts or Medicare participation often must use E-Verify. Confirm Hshs Medical Group is enrolled before your start date, since your work authorization confirmation depends on successful E-Verify completion within three business days of onboarding.
Build your petition timeline around the H-1B cap cycle
Hshs Medical Group cannot file your H-1B cap-subject petition outside the annual April filing window. If you receive an offer outside that window, negotiate a start date that accounts for the next registration period and the standard USCIS adjudication timeline.
Hshs Medical Group H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Hshs Medical Group sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Hshs Medical Group sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying roles, primarily in clinical and patient-care departments. Sponsorship is not extended to every open position, so you'll need to confirm H-1B support directly with the hiring team or recruiter during the interview process before advancing to an offer.
Which roles at Hshs Medical Group are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Hshs Medical Group is concentrated in clinical specialty roles such as physicians, advanced practice providers, and allied health professionals in positions that meet USCIS specialty occupation requirements. Administrative, support, and generalist roles are less likely to qualify or receive sponsorship approval.
How do I find open H-1B jobs at Hshs Medical Group?
Migrate Mate surfaces Hshs Medical Group job listings filtered by verified H-1B sponsorship history, so you're not applying blindly. You can also search Hshs Medical Group's careers page directly and ask the recruiter during your first conversation whether the specific role is approved for H-1B sponsorship.
How do I navigate the H-1B filing process once I have an offer from Hshs Medical Group?
Once you have an offer, Hshs Medical Group's legal team or outside immigration counsel files the Labor Condition Application with DOL and then submits Form I-129 to USCIS during the annual cap registration period. Your role is to provide documentation of your degree credentials, employment history, and any prior immigration records promptly when requested.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take at Hshs Medical Group?
From offer to approved H-1B status, the full process typically spans several months. USCIS lottery registration opens in March, petitions file in April, and standard adjudication can run three to six months. Premium processing is available if you need a faster decision, though Hshs Medical Group's policy on who covers that fee varies by role.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Hshs Medical Group?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
