Target roles aligned with H-1B specialty occupation requirements
OneOncology's H-1B sponsorships concentrate on roles requiring a specific bachelor's degree or higher. Focus your applications on clinical, technology, and data-driven positions within their oncology network where degree-to-role alignment is clear.
Engage with OneOncology's recruiting team early in the hiring cycle
H-1B sponsorship decisions at healthcare organizations often involve legal and HR coordination. Reaching out to OneOncology recruiters before a role closes gives you time to confirm sponsorship availability and set timeline expectations for the H-1B process.
Highlight specialized oncology or healthcare industry experience
OneOncology supports community-based oncology practices, so candidates with relevant clinical, operational, or technology experience in healthcare settings are better positioned to secure H-1B sponsorship from a hiring manager who sees immediate role fit.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified H-1B sponsorship opportunities at OneOncology
Not every job posting confirms H-1B sponsorship upfront. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving time and helping you focus on OneOncology roles where sponsorship is a realistic option.
Understand the H-1B cap and lottery timing before applying
If you're not currently in H-1B status, your start date depends on the annual lottery. Discuss this timeline honestly with OneOncology's HR team so both sides can plan around the April registration window and October start date.
Prepare your credentials for healthcare-sector H-1B documentation
OneOncology operates in a regulated healthcare environment. Ensure your academic credentials, professional licenses, and any relevant certifications are ready for the Labor Condition Application and petition process, as healthcare roles often require additional verification steps.
OneOncology H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does OneOncology sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, OneOncology sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying roles across its healthcare and oncology network. Sponsorship is focused on positions that meet the H-1B specialty occupation standard, meaning the role requires a specific bachelor's degree or higher. Confirming sponsorship availability directly with the recruiter for a specific role is always recommended before applying.
Which roles at OneOncology typically receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at OneOncology tends to align with clinical, information technology, data analytics, and practice management roles where a specialized degree is a genuine job requirement. Positions in healthcare operations, pharmacy, and medical coding that meet the specialty occupation threshold are also plausible candidates for sponsorship consideration.
How do I apply for a job at OneOncology if I need H-1B sponsorship?
Apply through OneOncology's careers page and clearly indicate your need for H-1B sponsorship in your application or initial recruiter conversation. Using Migrate Mate to identify confirmed H-1B roles at OneOncology before applying saves time. Once an offer is extended, OneOncology's HR and legal teams coordinate the Labor Condition Application and I-129 petition filing.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take at OneOncology?
For cap-subject H-1B cases, the process begins with the USCIS registration lottery in March, with employment typically starting October 1 if selected. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, a transfer can move faster. Premium processing is available and reduces the adjudication window to roughly 15 business days once the petition is filed.
What can I do to strengthen my H-1B sponsorship application at OneOncology?
Demonstrating a clear connection between your academic credentials and the specific role is the most important factor. In healthcare settings like OneOncology, professional licenses, certifications, and documented experience in oncology or related fields reinforce the specialty occupation case. Being transparent about your visa status and timeline early in the process helps recruiters plan accordingly.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at OneOncology?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
