Align your degree to the specialty occupation standard
Panda Restaurant Group's H-1B roles in IT, finance, and supply chain require a direct connection between your degree field and the job duties. Review the O*NET occupation profile for your target role to confirm the degree requirement language before you apply.
Target Rosemead headquarters roles specifically
H-1B sponsorship at Panda Restaurant Group is concentrated in corporate functions, not restaurant operations. Filter your job search to roles based at Rosemead, California, where the company's technology, finance, and supply chain teams are staffed and where visa sponsorship decisions are made.
Verify prevailing wage before salary negotiations
Before you discuss compensation, look up your target job title and location using the OFLC Wage Search. Panda Restaurant Group's H-1B petition requires DOL-certified prevailing wage compliance, so knowing the wage level early helps you negotiate a salary that keeps the LCA filing on track.
Use Migrate Mate to confirm Panda Restaurant Group's filing history
Check Panda Restaurant Group's actual H-1B filing history by job title and department before investing time in an application. Migrate Mate surfaces DOL Labor Condition Application data by employer, so you can see which roles and occupations the company has historically sponsored.
Confirm E-Verify enrollment before your start date
STEM OPT and H-1B status both require your employer to be enrolled in E-Verify. Confirm Panda Restaurant Group's enrollment status during the offer stage, not after signing, so there are no last-minute delays to your I-9 verification or USCIS filing timeline.
Plan around the H-1B cap registration window
Panda Restaurant Group is a cap-subject employer, so your petition must go through the annual H-1B lottery. USCIS opens registration each March for the following October 1 start date, meaning you'll need your offer letter secured well before the registration window opens.
Panda Restaurant Group H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Panda Restaurant Group sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Panda Restaurant Group sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying corporate roles. Sponsorship is concentrated in the company's Rosemead headquarters across departments such as information technology, finance, and supply chain. Restaurant-level and field operations positions are generally not sponsored for H-1B. Candidates should target corporate job postings that explicitly state visa sponsorship is available.
Which roles at Panda Restaurant Group are most likely to get H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Panda Restaurant Group is most common in specialty occupation roles that require a bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field. This includes positions in software engineering, data analytics, financial analysis, and supply chain management at the corporate headquarters. Roles in restaurant management or hourly operations do not typically meet the specialty occupation standard required for H-1B.
How do I start the H-1B process with Panda Restaurant Group after receiving an offer?
Once you have a written offer, Panda Restaurant Group's HR or immigration counsel will initiate a Labor Condition Application with DOL to certify the prevailing wage. After LCA certification, the company files Form I-129 with USCIS. If your petition is selected in the annual cap lottery, your H-1B status begins October 1. You can use Migrate Mate to manage your filing documents and timeline through this process.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take at Panda Restaurant Group?
The timeline depends on when you receive your offer relative to the annual registration window. USCIS opens H-1B cap registration each March, with an October 1 start date for selected petitions. If you miss a registration cycle, you may wait up to a full year for the next one. Premium processing is available to expedite USCIS adjudication to 15 business days once the petition is filed.
How do I know if a Panda Restaurant Group job posting includes H-1B sponsorship?
Some postings state visa sponsorship availability directly, but not all do. Search Panda Restaurant Group's careers page and filter for corporate roles in Rosemead. If a posting is unclear, ask the recruiter during the initial screening call whether the role is approved for H-1B sponsorship before investing time in the interview process. Checking DOL Labor Condition Application data through a tool like Migrate Mate can also confirm which job titles the company has filed for previously.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Panda Restaurant Group?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
