- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI, CRM tools (Microsoft CRM a plus), or similar platforms
- Comfort working with large data sets and synthesizing inputs from multiple sources
- Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, business-focused insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and confidence partnering with sales teams and senior leaders
- Interest in AI, advanced analytics, and modern intelligence tools
- Experience in steel, refractories, manufacturing, or B2B industrial markets is a plus

This role offers meaningful exposure and accelerated learning. In your first 30 days, you’ll focus on onboarding, systems, and customer exposure to build a strong foundation. Early travel and close collaboration with sales will fast-track your understanding of markets and decision drivers.
Over time, you’ll expand ownership of market intelligence initiatives, deepen your strategic influence, and help shape how RHI Magnesita uses data and AI to compete and win. The visibility, relationships, and experience gained create strong pathways for long-term growth within the organization.

Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
RHI Magnesita's H-1B filings typically support roles requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field. Cross-reference your degree against the specific job title using O*NET to confirm your occupation meets USCIS specialty occupation criteria before applying.
Target engineering and materials science openings
H-1B sponsorship at RHI Magnesita concentrates in technical disciplines tied to refractory and industrial materials. Focus your search on process engineering, materials development, and quality assurance roles, where a directly relevant advanced degree strengthens your sponsorship case considerably.
Verify your prevailing wage before salary negotiations
Before your offer stage, run your job title and location through the OFLC Wage Search to understand the DOL prevailing wage for your role. RHI Magnesita's LCA must certify a wage at or above that level, so knowing the floor protects your negotiating position.
Confirm E-Verify enrollment before accepting an offer
USCIS requires H-1B employers to be enrolled in E-Verify. Before signing with RHI Magnesita, confirm they're an active E-Verify participant, since any gap in enrollment can delay or block your petition filing after the lottery selection window closes.
Use Migrate Mate to track RHI Magnesita's LCA filing history
Pull RHI Magnesita's Labor Condition Application filings on Migrate Mate to see which job titles and work locations they've certified for H-1B sponsorship. This tells you where active sponsorship is actually happening, not just where open roles are posted on their careers page.
Plan your timeline around the H-1B cap and start date
H-1B cap registrations open in March, with employment starting October 1 if selected. At RHI Magnesita, align your interview and offer timeline so your employer can submit your registration during the March window, giving you the full selection cycle rather than waiting another year.
RHI Magnesita H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does RHI Magnesita sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, RHI Magnesita sponsors H-1B visas for qualified international candidates, primarily in technical and engineering roles tied to its chemicals and materials operations. Sponsorship is selective and concentrated in positions requiring specialized degrees, so roles in process engineering, materials science, and quality functions are the most likely pathways into the company on an H-1B.
Which departments at RHI Magnesita typically receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at RHI Magnesita is most common in technical functions, including process engineering, materials research, product development, and plant operations. Corporate roles in finance or supply chain are less frequently sponsored. Targeting positions where your degree field directly maps to the job description gives you the strongest case for sponsorship approval.
How do I start the H-1B application process at RHI Magnesita?
Once RHI Magnesita extends a conditional offer, their HR or immigration team files a Labor Condition Application with DOL, then submits your H-1B petition to USCIS after lottery selection. Your role is to provide degree credentials, passport details, and employment history promptly. Delays in document gathering are the most common reason timelines slip at this stage.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take at RHI Magnesita?
From lottery registration in March to an October 1 start date is roughly six months, assuming standard USCIS processing. Premium processing can shorten adjudication to about 15 business days but adds cost. If you're already on OPT or another status, cap-gap rules may let you continue working while your petition is pending beyond your current authorization end date.
How do I find open H-1B roles at RHI Magnesita?
Search RHI Magnesita's careers page for technical and engineering positions, then use Migrate Mate to verify which job titles the company has historically certified through Labor Condition Applications. This combination shows you both current openings and the roles where sponsorship has actually been granted, so you're targeting positions with a real sponsorship track record.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at RHI Magnesita?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
