Job Roles at StubHub
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in StubHub H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target technical and product roles
StubHub's H-1B sponsorship is concentrated in software engineering, data science, and product management. Focus your applications on these departments, where the company has an established pattern of sponsoring international candidates.
Understand StubHub's business context
StubHub operates at the intersection of retail, marketplace technology, and live events. Framing your skills around scalable marketplace platforms, consumer-facing product development, or data-driven pricing strengthens your fit for sponsored roles.
Verify sponsorship history before applying
Not every open role at StubHub comes with H-1B sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving you time on roles that won't support a visa petition.
Apply well before the April H-1B cap deadline
StubHub must file H-1B cap petitions by early April for an October start date. Aim to secure an offer by January or February to give the company adequate time to prepare your petition and supporting documentation.
Prepare for employer-specific sponsorship questions
Hiring managers at retail and tech companies often assess whether the role genuinely requires specialized knowledge. Come ready to articulate how your degree and expertise directly apply to the specific position StubHub is filling.
Highlight experience with marketplace or e-commerce platforms
StubHub competes on its platform's scale and reliability. Candidates with backgrounds in high-volume e-commerce, dynamic pricing systems, or consumer marketplace products are well-positioned for the technical roles most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship.

Does StubHub sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, StubHub sponsors H-1B visas. The company has a consistent sponsorship history, primarily for roles in software engineering, data science, and product management. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every open position, so confirming visa support directly with the recruiter early in the process is important.
Which roles and departments at StubHub are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at StubHub is most common in technology and product functions, including software engineering, data engineering, machine learning, and product management. Business and operations roles occasionally qualify, but sponsorship for those positions is less consistent. Roles requiring a specific technical degree are the strongest candidates for H-1B support.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at StubHub?
Once StubHub extends an offer and confirms sponsorship, the company works with an immigration attorney to file your H-1B petition. You'll provide educational credentials, employment documentation, and personal information. StubHub initiates the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor before filing Form I-129 with USCIS on your behalf.
How do I find H-1B sponsored jobs at StubHub?
You can search StubHub's careers page directly, but filtering specifically for visa-sponsored roles isn't always straightforward. Migrate Mate aggregates verified H-1B sponsor data so you can identify StubHub openings alongside other confirmed sponsors, helping you prioritize applications where sponsorship is genuinely available rather than assumed.
What timeline should I expect for H-1B sponsorship at StubHub?
Cap-subject H-1B petitions must be filed in April for an October 1 start date. Securing an offer by January or February gives StubHub time to prepare your petition before the registration window opens in March. If you're transferring from another H-1B employer, StubHub can file a cap-exempt transfer and you can start sooner.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at StubHub?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
