Job Roles at TidalHealth
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in TidalHealth H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target clinical and specialized roles
TidalHealth's H-1B sponsorship is concentrated in clinical disciplines such as nursing, physician, and allied health positions. Focus your applications on roles where specialized credentials are required, as these are most likely to qualify for H-1B sponsorship.
Confirm sponsorship willingness early
Healthcare employers vary widely on sponsorship policy by department. When reaching out to TidalHealth recruiters, ask directly whether the specific role supports H-1B sponsorship before investing significant time in the application process.
Align your credentials with U.S. licensing requirements
TidalHealth operates in a regulated healthcare environment where state licensure matters as much as visa status. Ensure your international credentials are evaluated and that any required U.S. licensure steps are underway before applying.
Use verified job search tools to find open H-1B roles
Not every job listing signals sponsorship availability. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you identify TidalHealth openings where H-1B support is confirmed.
Understand the H-1B cap and timing
TidalHealth, as a for-profit healthcare employer, files cap-subject H-1B petitions. Time your application discussions to align with the annual H-1B registration window in March, so both you and the employer are prepared well in advance.
Highlight specialty occupation qualifications clearly
USCIS requires H-1B roles to qualify as specialty occupations. When applying to TidalHealth, ensure your resume and cover letter clearly connect your specific degree field to the technical requirements of the healthcare role you are pursuing.

Does TidalHealth sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, TidalHealth sponsors H-1B visas. The organization has a documented history of filing H-1B petitions for qualified international professionals, particularly in clinical and healthcare-related roles. Sponsorship availability varies by position and department, so confirming directly with the recruiter for your specific role is always recommended.
Which roles and departments at TidalHealth typically receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at TidalHealth is most common in clinical specialties such as physician, nursing, and allied health positions where a specific degree is required by the role. Departments with high patient care demand and limited local talent pipelines tend to be the most active in pursuing H-1B sponsorship for qualified candidates.
How do I apply for a job at TidalHealth as an H-1B candidate?
Apply through TidalHealth's careers page and indicate your need for H-1B sponsorship during the screening process. Once a conditional offer is extended, TidalHealth's HR team typically coordinates with an immigration attorney to file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor and the H-1B petition with USCIS. You can also find TidalHealth H-1B roles through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by verified sponsorship history.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take at TidalHealth?
The standard H-1B process involves USCIS registration in March, lottery selection notification in April, and petition filing between April and June for an October 1 start date. From offer to work authorization, the process spans roughly six to eight months. Premium processing is available for faster USCIS adjudication, though the employer typically decides whether to use it.
What can I do to strengthen my H-1B application at TidalHealth?
Ensure your degree directly aligns with the healthcare role you are applying for, as USCIS scrutinizes the degree-to-job match for specialty occupation classification. Having any required state licensure initiated or completed before filing strengthens the petition. Working with TidalHealth's designated immigration counsel and responding promptly to any documentation requests will help avoid unnecessary delays.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at TidalHealth?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
