Hours: 6:00AM - 2:30PM CST with Occasional Weekends
What You Will Do
- Operate a tractor-trailer on public roads abiding by all Valeo and governmental agency rules and regulations to move loaded and empty trailers to and from off-site locations, truck docks and other assigned areas
- Operate a tractor-trailer to: transport company materials and product, refuel, obtain service, etc
- Take responsibility for minor maintenance which would include general truck inspection prior to operating and minor emergency/temporary repairs
- Maintain required travel logs, reports, etc
- When not operating truck, perform work of “Fork Truck Operator” in all warehouse functions
- Notify designated personnel of any irregularities in materials, process, or equipment
- Perform each phase of job in full compliance with all company, state and/or federal safety and environmental regulations
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervision
What You Should Have
- High school diploma / GED
- Must have a Class A CDL endorsement on your driver’s license
- Must have completed a Powered Industrial Truck Operation Training course
- Must demonstrate ability to properly operate a tractor-trailer on public highways
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 35 lbs
