Role Overview
The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator is responsible for supporting and strengthening our safety and environmental programs across the facility. This role partners with leaders and employees to identify risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement. By driving proactive safety initiatives, leading training efforts, and supporting ISO and OSHA compliance, this position plays a key role in protecting our people and supporting operational excellence.
Location: Griffin, GA (Occasional travel required)

Responsibilities & Key Performance Indicators

Lead Incident Investigations & Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Ensure 100% completion of assigned incident investigations and RCAs, with corrective actions documented and tracked to closure.

Ensure OSHA & Regulatory Compliance
Maintain accurate OSHA 300 logs and required documentation, supporting successful regulatory inspections (OSHA, EPA, DOT, ISO) with zero compliance gaps.

Support and Drive Safety & ESG Committees
Assist and/or chair Safety and ESG Committee meetings at least 1x per month, setting action items and tracking progress toward project goals.

Conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSA/JHA) & Gemba Walks
Complete 50% review of bi-annual JSA/JHA assessments and conduct routine Gemba Walks to proactively identify and mitigate workplace hazards.

Deliver EHS Training & Onboarding
Facilitate New Hire and Contractor EHS orientations with 100% completion rate prior to floor access, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification (or equivalent safety-related certification).
- Experience conducting hazard analysis/assessments and incident investigations.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and general safety compliance standards.
- Experience in hazardous materials management and regulatory recordkeeping.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
