Job Roles at Imprivata Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Imprivata Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles in Imprivata's core product and engineering teams
Imprivata's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical disciplines supporting its healthcare IT platform. Focus your applications on software engineering, cybersecurity, and product development roles where specialized skills align most directly with the company's visa sponsorship history.
Understand Imprivata's healthcare IT niche before applying
Imprivata sits at the intersection of healthcare and cybersecurity. Candidates who can speak to identity governance, clinical workflows, or HIPAA-adjacent security concerns will stand out in interviews and strengthen the case for sponsorship over a generalist applicant.
Start the conversation about sponsorship during the offer stage
Imprivata has an established sponsorship process for select roles. Raise visa requirements clearly when an offer is being discussed rather than after signing, this gives HR time to coordinate with legal counsel and prevents delays in your start date.
F-1 OPT and CPT candidates should apply early in the recruiting cycle
Imprivata sponsors F-1 OPT and CPT, making it a realistic option for international students. Apply well ahead of your OPT start date so there's adequate runway for onboarding and, if needed, H-1B lottery registration before your authorization window closes.
Canadian and Mexican professionals should explore TN eligibility
Imprivata sponsors TN visas, which don't require lottery registration and can be processed quickly. If you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship and work in a qualifying technology or engineering field, TN is often a faster path than waiting on H-1B selection.
Use Migrate Mate to verify Imprivata's sponsorship before applying
Sponsorship history matters when targeting companies in specialized sectors like healthcare IT. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and confirm Imprivata's track record before investing time in the application process.

Does Imprivata sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Imprivata sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying roles. Sponsorship tends to be focused on technical positions within the company's healthcare IT and cybersecurity platform. Which visa types does Imprivata sponsor?
Imprivata sponsors H-1B, Green Card (EB-2 and EB-3), F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. This range covers international students completing U.S. degrees, skilled workers from countries with treaty arrangements, and professionals seeking long-term permanent residency pathways. The visa type offered typically depends on the role, your nationality, and your current immigration status.
What types of roles at Imprivata are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Imprivata is most commonly associated with technical roles in software engineering, cybersecurity, and product development, disciplines that directly support its identity and access management solutions for healthcare organizations. Roles requiring deep specialization in clinical IT security or enterprise software are strong candidates. Non-technical roles are less likely to be sponsored, though it varies by position and hiring need.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Imprivata?
Migrate Mate is the most efficient way to find sponsored roles at Imprivata. The platform filters job listings by verified sponsorship history, so you can search specifically for Imprivata openings where visa support has been provided in the past. This saves time compared to manually vetting job postings that don't disclose sponsorship status upfront.
How do I approach the Green Card process if I join Imprivata on an H-1B?
Imprivata has sponsored both EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, which means it has experience navigating the permanent residency process. If you're joining on an H-1B with long-term intentions, ask HR about the company's typical timeline for initiating PERM labor certification. Starting that conversation early matters, especially given priority date backlogs for nationals from high-demand countries like India.
