We are looking for an intern to support the SPICE modeling team in Lexington, Kentucky by inventing and implementing software tools to improve quality and productivity of SPICE compact models of Infineon’s process technologies. The Infineon Kentucky SPICE modeling team is responsible for developing SPICE models for the entire corporation in a $2M 50GHz Modeling Lab that generates SPICE models for 130nm to 22nm technologies.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In your new role you will:
- Support the SPICE modeling team by inventing and implementing software tools to improve quality and productivity of SPICE compact models of Infineon’s process technologies
- Implement quality assurance checks for new SPICE models
- Improve the productivity of those quality assurance checks
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Current student working towards a major in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science Engineering
- Strong programming skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail
- Understanding of VLSI design, semiconductor device physics and modeling technologies is a plus
- Ability to work at our Kentucky office
- Available for a Summer (May-Aug) 2026 internship
