Build a portfolio that signals financial fluency
JPMorganChase's Creative teams produce work for regulated financial products, investor communications, and enterprise brand campaigns. A portfolio showing experience in financial services, fintech, or B2B corporate environments signals you can operate within compliance-conscious creative workflows.
Target roles within the brand and design org
JPMorganChase houses Creative talent across its consumer bank, Chase brand, and corporate functions. Roles in the brand design and content teams have the clearest sponsorship precedent, so search job listings that reference those internal groups specifically.
Clarify your visa category before the offer stage
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Creative roles. If you're Australian or from Singapore, flag your E-3 or H-1B1 eligibility early because it simplifies the employer's process and removes the H-1B lottery from the equation entirely.
Align your degree directly to the creative specialty
USCIS requires a direct relationship between your degree field and the specific role for H-1B specialty occupation approval. A degree in graphic design supports a visual design role. A communications or marketing degree paired with writing experience supports a content strategist role.
Expect a structured interview and portfolio review process
JPMorganChase's Creative hiring typically involves multiple rounds, including a portfolio presentation to a cross-functional panel. Prepare to discuss how your work serves business objectives, not just aesthetics, since reviewers often include brand strategists and marketing stakeholders alongside design leads.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open Creative roles
Creative job listings at large financial institutions move quickly and don't always stay visible on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter JPMorganChase openings by visa sponsorship eligibility so you're applying to roles confirmed to support your visa category.

Find Creative at JPMorganChase JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Creatives?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Creative roles. The company participates in the annual H-1B lottery, so roles filled through this pathway are subject to the cap and selection process. JPMorganChase also sponsors H-1B1 and E-3 visas, which are cap-exempt and available to nationals of Singapore and Australia respectively, making those pathways faster if you qualify.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase sponsor for Creative roles?
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Creative positions, and supports Green Card sponsorship through the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based immigrant visa categories. For Creative roles, the visa type depends on your nationality and qualifications. Australians and Singaporeans have the most direct pathways given cap-exempt access under E-3 and H-1B1 respectively.
What qualifications does JPMorganChase expect for Creative roles?
JPMorganChase typically requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as graphic design, communications, fine arts, or marketing for Creative positions. Senior roles often require a demonstrated portfolio showing enterprise or brand-scale work. For visa sponsorship purposes, your degree must align directly with the role's responsibilities to satisfy USCIS specialty occupation requirements under H-1B, E-3, or H-1B1.
How do I apply for Creative jobs at JPMorganChase?
You can apply directly through JPMorganChase's careers site or browse sponsorship-confirmed openings on Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa type. Tailor your resume and portfolio to reflect financial services or enterprise brand experience. Applications without an attached or linked portfolio are typically screened out early for design and content-focused Creative roles at JPMorganChase.
How do I think about timing my H-1B application for a Creative role at JPMorganChase?
If you're pursuing an H-1B and aren't already in a cap-exempt status, the earliest JPMorganChase can file is in early April for an October 1 start date. That means your offer and onboarding planning need to account for a six-month gap. If you're on OPT, your employer can request a STEM extension or you can continue working through the gap if your EAD remains valid.
