JOB DESCRIPTION
About the Team
The JPMorganChase Private Bank Digital Team is dedicated to designing and delivering world-class digital experiences for our clients and advisors. We sit at the intersection of technology, design, and strategy — building products that simplify complexity, deepen relationships, and set the standard for digital wealth management. Our mission is to create cohesive, intuitive, and innovative digital solutions that empower both clients and the advisors who serve them.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sr Associate Product Manager to join our Digital Team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the end-to-end product development process, helping to shape and deliver seamless digital experiences for Private Bank clients and advisors. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in design, engineering, data & analytics, and business stakeholders to translate strategic vision into impactful products.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about building great user experiences, energized by the product lifecycle, and curious about the transformative potential of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in wealth management.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Execution: Partner with senior product managers and stakeholders to support the full product development lifecycle — from discovery and ideation through delivery and iteration. Help define product requirements, write user stories, and maintain a well-groomed backlog. Coordinate across engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
Client & Advisor Experience: Champion the end-user perspective by synthesizing client and advisor feedback, analyzing usage data, and identifying opportunities to improve digital experiences. Contribute to the creation of cohesive journeys that bridge client-facing and advisor-facing platforms.
AI & Innovation: Stay current on advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and emerging digital technologies. Identify and advocate for opportunities to integrate AI-driven capabilities — such as personalization, intelligent workflows, and predictive insights — into our product roadmap.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, technology, data science, compliance, and business partners to align on priorities and deliver integrated solutions. Communicate product updates, trade-offs, and progress clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Analytics & Insights: Leverage data and analytics to inform product decisions, measure feature performance, and support a culture of continuous improvement. Help define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that reflect product health and user satisfaction.
Qualifications
Required: A minimum of 2–4 years of experience in product management, digital strategy, consulting, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. A genuine passion for building exceptional user experiences and a strong sense of product intuition. Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Design, or a related discipline.
Preferred: Experience working in financial services, wealth management, or fintech. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Exposure to or strong interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and their applications in digital products. Experience with user research, A/B testing, or design thinking frameworks. MBA or advanced degree is a plus but not required.
What We Offer

Align your credentials to JPMorganChase's model risk standards
JPMorganChase Data Science Manager roles often require familiarity with model risk management frameworks. Document experience with model validation, governance, or regulatory compliance alongside technical skills before applying, since financial services hiring panels weight these heavily.
Target roles in specific lines of business
JPMorganChase posts Data Science Manager openings across distinct business lines like Chase Consumer, Commercial Banking, and the Corporate & Investment Bank. Each has different data priorities, so tailor your application to the specific division rather than applying broadly across all open positions.
Clarify your visa type early in recruiter conversations
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, E-3, and H-1B1 visas for this role. Confirm which category applies to you in your first recruiter call so the hiring team routes your offer through the right legal process and timelines are set correctly from the start.
Understand that PERM timing affects your offer structure
If you're targeting employer-sponsored Green Card pathways like EB-2 or EB-3, PERM labor certification through DOL typically takes 12 to 18 months. Factor this into your negotiation so your start date and initial visa status give you enough runway before the PERM process begins.
Build a portfolio around regulated data environments
JPMorganChase operates under strict data governance and financial regulatory requirements. Demonstrating prior work in environments subject to similar oversight, such as SOX compliance, BCBS 239, or Fed stress-testing data pipelines, differentiates you from candidates with purely tech-sector backgrounds.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open roles by visa type
Data Science Manager openings at JPMorganChase are distributed across multiple internal portals and business units. Use Migrate Mate to filter active listings by the visa categories JPMorganChase sponsors, so you're only spending time on roles where your sponsorship situation is already accounted for.

Find Data Science Manager at JPMorganChase JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Data Science Managers?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Data Science Manager roles. As one of the largest financial institutions in the United States, the company has established legal and HR infrastructure to support the full H-1B process, including petition preparation and USCIS filing. Be prepared to confirm your visa status early in the hiring process, as the legal team will need to assess your situation before an offer is finalized.
How do I apply for Data Science Manager jobs at JPMorganChase?
Applications go through JPMorganChase's careers portal, where roles are listed by line of business. You can also find visa-sponsorship-eligible openings through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by the specific visa types JPMorganChase supports. Tailor your resume to the division you're targeting, since hiring is decentralized and panels within each business line evaluate candidates independently.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase commonly use for Data Science Manager roles?
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for nonimmigrant work authorization in this role. For candidates pursuing permanent residency, the company also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through PERM labor certification filed with the DOL. Australian citizens are often eligible for the E-3 visa, which is faster and not subject to the H-1B lottery.
What qualifications does JPMorganChase expect for a Data Science Manager?
JPMorganChase typically expects a graduate degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, computer science, or applied mathematics, combined with several years of hands-on data science experience. For the manager level, demonstrated experience leading teams, communicating with non-technical stakeholders, and working within regulated data environments is expected alongside technical proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take after receiving an offer from JPMorganChase?
For H-1B petitions, USCIS standard processing takes three to five months after the April 1 filing window opens, with premium processing available to reduce that to 15 business days. E-3 and H-1B1 applications processed at a U.S. consulate abroad typically take two to six weeks. JPMorganChase's legal team manages the petition timeline, but confirming your start date and status early helps avoid gaps in work authorization.
