About Your Role
Private equity is one of the most important and fastest-growing segments of our business, and how we win there depends on product marketing expertise that sits shoulder-to-shoulder with Sales. We’re seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Private Equity to own the messaging, positioning, and enablement that move PE deals forward, from the first conversation with IR, a CFO or COO to the final stage of a competitive evaluation. In this role, you’ll be the internal expert on how private equity firms buy, who sits in the buying group, what they care about, and what makes them choose Juniper Square over the alternative. You’ll translate that understanding into the persona-specific narratives, competitive positioning, content and deal support that help our sellers win. This role reports to the Head of Product Marketing and partners closely with Sales leadership and Demand Gen, all teams that operate as trusted partners in driving pipeline and revenue.
What You’ll Do
Private Equity strategy, positioning & messaging
- Partner on Juniper Square’s strategy, positioning and messaging for the private equity segment, articulating a differentiated value proposition for each stakeholder in the PE buying group; CFOs, COOs, Heads of Finance and Fund Operations, Investor Relations, and technical evaluators.
- Build the PE persona and industry playbooks: buyer and influencer roles, priorities, objections, and content needs at every stage of the sales journey.
Sales enablement & deal support
- Work directly with Sales leadership and top sellers to co-create the collateral that wins PE deals: executive briefs, ROI narratives, competitive battlecards, and stakeholder-specific decks for each stage of the buying process.
- Act as the internal expert on PE deal dynamics, playing an active role in shaping messaging and strategy on high-stakes opportunities.
Voice of customer & market intelligence
- Conduct deep voice-of-customer research through customer interviews, win/loss analysis, and Sales feedback to continuously enrich our understanding of PE personas and use cases.
- Own competitive intelligence for the PE segment and disseminate actionable insights to Sales, Growth Marketing, and Product so the whole go-to-market motion stays aligned around how PE firms actually buy.
Build AI-native
- Use AI agents and tooling as core infrastructure to research accounts, synthesize customer and competitive inputs, which measurably accelerates the production of messaging and enablement assets.
- Apply judgment to what AI produces: know where automation accelerates the work and where human insight matters.
Cross-functional partnership
- Partner with Demand Gen to ground PE campaigns in strong, persona-relevant messaging and provide the inputs that drive message-market fit.
- Work with Product to translate complex platform capabilities into clear, resonant value propositions for PE buyers.
- Support Customer Marketing in surfacing the PE customer stories that validate our messaging with real-world proof.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in the private equity ecosystem is required (at a PE firm, a fund administrator, or a company selling into PE); you understand how these firms operate, who the buyers are, and what they care about.
- Experience in B2B product marketing or GTM strategy roles is advantageous but not required, with a strong bias toward supporting Sales and influencing deal outcomes.
- AI Fluency: experience using LLMs, agents, and AI automation tools to measurably accelerate your work, and understanding where human judgment is critical.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; the ability to translate nuanced market insights into clear, compelling GTM artifacts.
Compensation
Compensation for this position includes a base salary, equity, and a variety of benefits. The U.S. base salary range for this role is $115,000 - $215,000 USD and the Canadian base salary range for this role is $85,000 - $137,000 CAD. Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors, including experience, skillset, and location, and local minimum pay requirements as applicable.
Benefits Include
- Health, dental, and vision care for you and your family
- Life insurance
- Mental wellness coverage
- Fertility and growing family support
- Flex Time Off in addition to company-paid holidays
- Paid family leave, medical leave, and bereavement leave policies
- Retirement saving plans
- Allowance to customize your work and technology setup at home
- Annual professional development stipend

Target roles in engineering and product
Juniper Square's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical functions typical of a fintech software company. Focus your search on software engineering, data, and product roles where international hiring is most common in the Technology & Software industry.
Highlight fintech or SaaS experience
Juniper Square builds software for private markets and investment management. Candidates with prior experience in financial technology, SaaS platforms, or enterprise software will align more naturally with the team's technical context and stand out in the applicant pool.
Start your OPT or CPT conversation early
Juniper Square has supported F-1 OPT and CPT candidates, but these arrangements require lead time. Raise your work authorization status early in recruiter conversations so the team can plan around your start date and academic calendar requirements.
Understand the H-1B timeline before you apply
If you'll need H-1B sponsorship, be aware of the April lottery deadline. Target Juniper Square roles early in the calendar year so there's time to initiate the petition process. TN visa holders from Canada or Mexico face fewer timing constraints.
Research open roles using verified sponsorship data
Not every job posting mentions visa sponsorship explicitly. Use Migrate Mate to filter for Juniper Square openings with confirmed sponsorship history, so you're only applying to roles where international candidates have a real path forward.
Leverage TN eligibility if applicable
Juniper Square sponsors TN visas, which is a practical advantage for Canadian and Mexican nationals. TN status involves no lottery and can be arranged faster than H-1B. If you qualify, make that clear upfront, it simplifies the process for the employer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Juniper Square sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Juniper Square sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an active sponsorship track record within the Technology & Software industry, and H-1B is its primary pathway for international employees who need long-term work authorization. Roles in software engineering and technical functions are most likely to come with H-1B support. Because the H-1B is subject to an annual lottery, timing your application early in the year matters.
Which visa types does Juniper Square sponsor?
Juniper Square sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. This range covers most international candidates, from recent graduates on OPT or CPT to experienced professionals seeking H-1B transfer or TN status. Canadian and Mexican nationals in particular benefit from the TN option, which bypasses the H-1B lottery entirely.
How do I find open roles at Juniper Square that offer visa sponsorship?
The clearest way is to use Migrate Mate, which surfaces verified visa-sponsoring employers and lets you filter by company and visa type. Juniper Square's sponsorship history is confirmed through government filing data, so you can browse active openings with confidence that sponsorship is a real possibility rather than an unverified claim on a job posting.
Which departments at Juniper Square are most likely to sponsor visas?
Technical roles in software engineering, data infrastructure, and product development are the most common sponsorship candidates at fintech companies like Juniper Square. The company builds investment management software, so roles requiring specialized skills in backend systems, APIs, or financial data tend to be where international hiring is concentrated. Business and operations roles are less frequently sponsored.
How do I approach the application process at Juniper Square as an international candidate?
Be transparent about your visa status from the first recruiter conversation. Specify which visa you hold, when your current authorization expires, and which pathway you'll need, whether that's an OPT extension, H-1B petition, or TN letter. Juniper Square has experience with this process, so clarity upfront avoids delays and helps the hiring team plan around your timeline rather than discovering it late in the process.
