Frame your technical background for test equipment
Keysight's Customer Support roles often require hands-on familiarity with electronic test and measurement instruments. Tailor your resume to highlight experience troubleshooting signal analyzers, oscilloscopes, or RF equipment rather than generic IT or SaaS support work.
Target roles tied to Keysight's enterprise accounts
Keysight supports customers in aerospace, semiconductor, and communications sectors. Applying to Customer Support positions aligned with these verticals increases your chances, since specialized domain knowledge makes sponsorship a clearer business case for the hiring manager.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active sponsorship openings
Not every Customer Support listing at Keysight explicitly mentions visa sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsorship-eligible roles at Keysight so you spend time applying to positions where your immigration status won't be an obstacle.
Clarify your work authorization status before the offer stage
Bring up your visa status after a hiring manager expresses genuine interest, not in the initial screen. For H-1B holders already in the U.S., confirm whether Keysight will file an H-1B transfer, which keeps you continuously authorized without waiting on a new lottery selection.
Understand the PERM timeline if you want a Green Card
Keysight sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, which require PERM labor certification through the DOL before USCIS can adjudicate your immigrant petition. That process alone can take 12 to 18 months, so start the conversation with your future manager early in your tenure.
Prepare multilingual or regional support credentials
Keysight serves global customers and frequently hires Customer Support staff who can support non-English-speaking markets. Certifications in Japanese, Korean, or German customer communication, paired with technical knowledge, strengthen your profile for roles where sponsorship is routinely approved.

Find Customer Support at Keysight Technologies JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Keysight Technologies sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Supports?
Yes, Keysight Technologies sponsors H-1B visas for Customer Support roles. The company has a consistent history of filing H-1B petitions across technical and support functions, particularly for positions requiring specialized knowledge of electronic test and measurement systems. If you're already on an H-1B with another employer, Keysight can file an H-1B transfer, allowing you to start work once USCIS receives the petition.
How do I apply for Customer Support jobs at Keysight Technologies?
Apply directly through Keysight's careers portal, where roles are posted by product line and region. You can also browse verified sponsorship-eligible Customer Support openings at Keysight through Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for positions open to visa-sponsored candidates. Tailor your application to highlight technical support experience with electronic instruments, since Keysight values domain knowledge alongside customer-facing skills.
Which visa types does Keysight Technologies commonly use for Customer Support roles?
Keysight sponsors both nonimmigrant and immigrant visas for Customer Support professionals. The H-1B is the most common nonimmigrant path, appropriate for roles that require a specialized degree such as electrical engineering or physics. For longer-term immigration, Keysight also sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards through the PERM labor certification process with the Department of Labor, depending on the role's educational requirements.
What qualifications does Keysight Technologies expect for Customer Support positions?
Most Customer Support roles at Keysight require a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related technical field, since the work involves advising customers on complex test and measurement equipment. Hands-on experience with instruments such as network analyzers, power meters, or spectrum analyzers is a strong differentiator. Multilingual capability is an asset for roles supporting Keysight's customers in Asia-Pacific or European markets.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take if I receive an offer from Keysight Technologies?
For an H-1B transfer from an existing valid petition, USCIS allows you to begin work once the new petition is received, typically within a few weeks of filing. For a new H-1B, the standard USCIS processing window is three to six months after the October 1 start date, with premium processing available to reduce that to about 15 business days. Green Card sponsorship through PERM adds significantly more time, often two years or longer from initiation to approval.
