ABOUT THE COMPANY
LendingTree is the nation's largest online lending marketplace. That means we connect customers with multiple lenders, so they find the best deals on loans, credit cards, savings accounts and insurance. Our goal is to help people save money, and we believe the best way to do that is by giving them a way to shop for loans and compare lenders, so they make their best financial choices.
Our founder, Doug Lebda, founded the company in 1996 after a frustrating house-hunting experience. In those days, we mostly helped people find good mortgage deals. Now, we help consumers find their best in personal loans, auto loans, business loans, student loans, credit cards, savings accounts, home equity loans and more.
The base pay range for this position in Seattle/New York/Colorado/California is $120,000-$160,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on internal factors, job-related knowledge, and experience.
INCENTIVE COMPENSATION
Eligible for annual performance bonus
BENEFITS
Medical, dental, and vision insurance and 401(k) matching

Target roles in data, engineering, and financial analysis
LendingTree's sponsorship activity concentrates in technical and analytical functions that support its lending platform. Roles in software engineering, data science, and quantitative analysis are your strongest entry points when pursuing immigration sponsorship at the company.
Understand that LendingTree focuses on permanent residency pathways
LendingTree's sponsorship history skews heavily toward Green Card filings rather than temporary work visas. If you're looking for a company willing to invest in long-term immigration support, this signals genuine commitment to retaining sponsored employees over time.
F-1 OPT and CPT holders should apply early
LendingTree participates in F-1 OPT and CPT programs, making it accessible to recent graduates from U.S. universities. Apply well before your OPT authorization expires to leave enough time for onboarding and any supplemental immigration filings.
Canadian nationals should explore the TN visa pathway
LendingTree sponsors TN visas, which are available only to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional roles. If you're Canadian and work in a field like financial analysis, engineering, or accounting, TN sponsorship may be a faster route than Green Card processes.
Position yourself for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship from the start
LendingTree's Green Card activity spans both EB-2 and EB-3 categories. During interviews, clarify your long-term work authorization needs and ask about the company's internal process for initiating PERM labor certification, which is the first step toward both categories.
Use Migrate Mate to find open roles where sponsorship is verified
Sponsorship decisions vary by role and department at LendingTree. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and identify which active LendingTree postings are realistically open to visa-sponsored candidates.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does LendingTree sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available immigration filing data, LendingTree does not have a significant H-1B visa sponsorship history. The company's immigration activity is concentrated in Green Card categories, specifically EB-2 and EB-3, along with F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. If H-1B visa sponsorship is a requirement for your situation, it's worth discussing directly with the recruiting team during the hiring process.
What visa types does LendingTree sponsor?
LendingTree sponsors Green Card pathways under the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based categories, as well as F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates, and TN visas for qualifying Canadian and Mexican professionals. The company's strongest sponsorship commitment is in the Green Card categories, reflecting a preference for long-term employment relationships over temporary visa arrangements.
Which departments or roles at LendingTree are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at LendingTree tends to align with roles requiring specialized technical or analytical expertise. Software engineering, data science, machine learning, and financial analysis positions have historically been the most likely to involve immigration support. These functions sit at the core of LendingTree's lending marketplace infrastructure and are where the company most actively competes for skilled talent, including internationally.
How do I navigate the application timeline if I need visa sponsorship at LendingTree?
If you're on F-1 OPT, apply with enough runway before your authorization expires, as employer-initiated Green Card processes can take time to initiate after you're hired. For EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship, the PERM labor certification step alone can take many months. Raise your immigration needs clearly during early recruiter conversations so the hiring team can assess feasibility before an offer is extended.
How do I find open jobs at LendingTree that are open to sponsored candidates?
The most reliable approach is to use Migrate Mate, which aggregates job listings from verified visa sponsors and lets you filter by company and visa type. This removes the guesswork of identifying which postings at LendingTree are realistically open to candidates who need sponsorship, saving you from applying to roles where it was never an option.
