Align your credentials to Lennox's engineering disciplines
Lennox recruits heavily in HVAC systems, thermal engineering, and controls. Before applying, verify your degree and experience map directly to a specific product or systems engineering team, not just a general engineering function.
Target roles that match specialty occupation standards
USCIS requires H-1B positions to qualify as specialty occupations. For manufacturing engineers at Lennox, that means the role must demand a relevant bachelor's degree in a specific field. Review job postings for degree-specific language before applying.
Confirm E-Verify enrollment before accepting an offer
Any company sponsoring H-1B workers must be enrolled in E-Verify. Confirm Lennox's enrollment through the E-Verify employer search before signing an offer, so there are no delays once your petition is filed.

Does Lennox International sponsor H-1B visas for Engineers?
Yes, Lennox International sponsors H-1B visas for engineering roles. The company has a consistent history of filing H-1B petitions for positions in product development, systems engineering, and manufacturing. To qualify, your role must meet USCIS specialty occupation standards, meaning the position requires a relevant bachelor's degree in a specific field of study.

Tailor your application to the specific engineering discipline listed, whether that's mechanical, electrical, or controls engineering.
Which visa types does Lennox International commonly sponsor for Engineering roles?
Lennox International sponsors both nonimmigrant and immigrant visa categories for engineers. H-1B is the most common pathway for initial work authorization. For longer-term candidates, the company supports permanent residence through EB-2 and EB-3 categories, which require PERM labor certification filed with the Department of Labor before the immigrant petition stage.
What qualifications does Lennox International typically expect for Engineering positions?
Most engineering roles at Lennox require a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or a related engineering discipline. For sponsored positions, the degree must align directly with the job function to satisfy USCIS specialty occupation requirements. Practical experience in HVAC systems, thermal management, or industrial manufacturing strengthens your profile considerably and is frequently reflected in job postings.
How do I time my H-1B sponsorship process when targeting Lennox International?
The H-1B cap registration window opens in March each year, with approved petitions taking effect October 1. If you're on OPT, confirm your end date allows enough runway to complete registration and lottery selection. Lennox would need to submit your registration before the March deadline, so securing and finalizing your offer well before then is essential.
