Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
H-1B eligibility for Manufacturing roles hinges on whether your position qualifies as a specialty occupation. Frame your degree in mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering as directly tied to the specific technical functions of the role, not just general manufacturing experience.
Target Lennox roles with engineering-specific requirements
Lennox's Manufacturing openings range from production supervision to systems engineering. Focus on postings that require a specific technical degree, since those are far more defensible for H-1B sponsorship than generalist roles where any bachelor's field would satisfy the requirement.
Search verified sponsoring employers before applying
Use Migrate Mate to filter Manufacturing jobs at Lennox International by visa type, so you're only spending time on roles where sponsorship has been confirmed rather than guessing from job descriptions that rarely mention it.
Ask about LCA filing timing during offer negotiations
Your employer must file a certified Labor Condition Application with the DOL before USCIS can adjudicate your H-1B petition. Confirm Lennox's HR team has started the LCA process before you give notice to any current employer, since delays here directly push back your start date.
Prepare for PERM if you're pursuing permanent residence
Lennox has sponsored EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for Manufacturing professionals. PERM requires Lennox to conduct a formal recruitment process proving no qualified U.S. worker was available, so expect a timeline of one to two years before your priority date is established.
Document hands-on production experience precisely
For Manufacturing roles, USCIS scrutinizes whether the position genuinely requires a bachelor's degree. Support your petition with detailed job duty descriptions that tie each responsibility to specific technical knowledge your degree provides, not just years of time on the floor.

Find Manufacturing at Lennox International JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Lennox International sponsor H-1B visas for Manufacturings?
Yes, Lennox International sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying Manufacturing roles, particularly positions in engineering and technical operations that meet USCIS specialty occupation standards. Sponsorship is most common for roles where the job duties require a specific technical degree such as mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering, rather than generalist manufacturing or supervisory positions.
How do I apply for Manufacturing jobs at Lennox International?
Applications go through Lennox International's careers portal, where Manufacturing roles are listed by location and function. Before applying, verify that the role is open to sponsored candidates, since not every posting explicitly states visa support. Migrate Mate lets you browse Lennox's current Manufacturing openings filtered by sponsorship status, so you can focus your effort on the right positions from the start.
Which visa types does Lennox International commonly use for Manufacturing roles?
Lennox International primarily sponsors H-1B visas for Manufacturing professionals in technical and engineering roles. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, the company has also filed EB-2 and EB-3 petitions, which require a PERM labor certification through the Department of Labor. The right category depends on your education level, the specific role, and how long you've been with the company.
What qualifications does Lennox International expect for sponsored Manufacturing positions?
Sponsored Manufacturing roles at Lennox typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering or technical discipline, such as mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or electrical engineering. Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, production processes, or quality management is a strong differentiator. Roles that blend design, process improvement, or systems integration tend to have the clearest path to H-1B eligibility due to their specialty occupation footing.
How do I think about timing if I need Lennox to sponsor my visa?
H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed once per year, with the lottery registration opening in March and employment starting no earlier than October 1. If you're on OPT, confirm your OPT expiration and whether you qualify for the 24-month STEM extension, which can give you up to three years of work authorization while waiting for an H-1B. Start conversations with Lennox's recruiting team early enough that the LCA filing and petition preparation don't compress into an impossible window.
