Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Service Technician Jobs at Lennox International Jobs
Document Your HVAC Certifications Before Applying
Lennox prioritizes technicians with EPA 608 certification and manufacturer-specific training. Gather your credentials, service records, and any Lennox or allied brand training certificates before submitting an application, as these directly support a specialty occupation determination.
Target Lennox Branches in High-Demand Service Territories
Lennox staffs technicians regionally based on equipment density and service contract volume. Research which U.S. markets have the highest concentration of Lennox commercial accounts and apply to branches there first, since sponsorship decisions are often made at the regional hiring level.
Use Migrate Mate to Find Sponsored Service Technician Openings
Not every Lennox posting signals visa sponsorship willingness upfront. Search Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Lennox Service Technician roles where sponsorship has been offered, saving time you'd otherwise spend cold-applying to positions that won't move forward.
Understand How PERM Applies to Technician Roles
If Lennox moves you toward a Green Card via EB-2 or EB-3, the PERM labor certification requires DOL to confirm no qualified U.S. workers were available. For Service Technicians, that process typically runs 12 to 18 months before an immigrant petition can even be filed.
Clarify Sponsorship Scope During the Offer Stage
Some Lennox hiring managers distinguish between sponsoring an initial H-1B and committing to Green Card sponsorship later. Ask directly during the offer conversation whether the company's support covers only the temporary visa or extends through permanent residence filing.
Prepare for USCIS Specialty Occupation Scrutiny on Technical Roles
USCIS occasionally challenges whether field service positions qualify as specialty occupations under H-1B rules. Strengthen your case by pairing your engineering or technical degree with documentation showing diagnostic complexity in your previous service work, not just installation tasks.

Find Service Technician at Lennox International JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Lennox International sponsor H-1B visas for Service Technicians?
Yes, Lennox International has a track record of sponsoring H-1B visas for Service Technicians, particularly where the role requires specialized HVAC engineering or advanced diagnostic expertise. Sponsorship availability can vary by region and business need, so confirming directly with the hiring team during the offer stage is the most reliable approach.
Which visa types does Lennox International commonly use for Service Technician roles?
Lennox International sponsors both temporary and permanent work visa categories for Service Technicians. H-1B is the most common nonimmigrant pathway for roles requiring a qualifying degree. For longer-term hires, Lennox has supported EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa petitions, which go through DOL's PERM labor certification process before USCIS adjudicates the immigrant petition.
What qualifications and experience does Lennox International expect from Service Technician candidates?
Lennox typically expects EPA 608 certification, hands-on experience servicing commercial or residential HVAC and refrigeration systems, and familiarity with electrical diagnostics and controls. A degree in mechanical, electrical, or HVAC engineering strengthens a sponsorship case significantly. Field experience with Lennox equipment or allied brands is a practical advantage during screening.
How do I apply for Service Technician jobs at Lennox International?
You can search and apply through Lennox International's careers portal directly, or use Migrate Mate to browse Service Technician openings at Lennox that are specifically listed with visa sponsorship. Tailoring your application to highlight technical certifications, diagnostic experience, and any manufacturer-specific training accelerates your profile through initial screening for sponsored roles.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Service Technician at Lennox International?
For an H-1B, the standard USCIS processing window runs three to six months after the April lottery selection, with premium processing available to reduce that to roughly 15 business days. If Lennox initiates Green Card sponsorship via PERM, expect the full EB-3 process to take two to four years or longer depending on your country of birth and the DOL backlog at the time of filing.
