Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
Lennox HVAC roles often require a degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field. Make sure your transcripts and credential evaluations clearly map your qualification to the specific discipline the job posting names, not just engineering broadly.
Target product engineering and R&D openings first
Lennox's HVAC sponsorship activity is strongest in technical and engineering-focused roles tied to product development. Applying to those positions improves your chances of landing a role with a clear petition pathway, compared to field-service or sales-adjacent titles.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified HVAC openings at Lennox
Sorting through Lennox's job board manually won't tell you which roles have a sponsorship history. Migrate Mate surfaces verified HVAC openings at Lennox alongside sponsorship data, so you can focus your applications on positions with real filing precedent.
Confirm LCA wage compliance before accepting an offer
Before you sign, verify that your offered salary meets or exceeds the DOL prevailing wage for your role and work location. Lennox operates facilities across multiple states, and the prevailing wage threshold shifts significantly depending on which site you're assigned to.
Prepare for PERM if you're pursuing a Green Card
Lennox has sponsored both H-1B and EB-category petitions for HVAC roles. If permanent residence is your goal, ask during the offer stage whether the company is willing to initiate PERM, since the recruitment documentation process must begin well before your priority date matters.
Request premium processing if your start date is fixed
USCIS standard H-1B adjudication can take several months. If your offer letter names a specific start date tied to a product launch or project cycle, ask Lennox's immigration team early whether premium processing is available for your petition.

Find HVAC at Lennox International JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Lennox International sponsor H-1B visas for HVACs?
Yes, Lennox International sponsors H-1B visas for HVAC roles, particularly in engineering and product development functions. Sponsorship is most consistently tied to technical positions that meet USCIS specialty occupation standards, meaning the role requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field like mechanical engineering. Your degree field and job title need to align clearly for the petition to hold up under scrutiny.
Which visa types does Lennox International commonly use for HVAC roles?
Lennox International primarily sponsors H-1B visas for HVAC professionals in technical roles, and has also pursued employment-based Green Card categories, including EB-2 and EB-3, for longer-tenured employees. H-1B is the typical starting point for skilled HVAC hires. Green Card sponsorship through PERM generally comes after you've been with the company for some time and both parties want to establish a long-term arrangement.
What qualifications does Lennox International expect for HVAC roles?
Most HVAC openings at Lennox that come with sponsorship require a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline. Hands-on experience with HVAC system design, thermodynamics, or product testing is commonly listed as a requirement. For senior-level roles, familiarity with manufacturing processes or regulatory compliance standards like ASHRAE or UL can strengthen your application considerably.
How do I apply for HVAC jobs at Lennox International?
You can browse and apply for HVAC positions directly through Lennox International's careers portal, or use Migrate Mate to find verified HVAC openings with sponsorship history already surfaced for you. When you apply, tailor your resume to the specific engineering discipline the job posting names, since generic HVAC experience won't differentiate you in a manufacturing-focused hiring process. Following up with the recruiter after applying is standard practice for technical roles.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for an HVAC role at Lennox?
For an H-1B petition, standard USCIS processing runs roughly three to six months after filing, though premium processing can cut that to around 15 business days. If you're transitioning from OPT or another status, your start date needs to account for cap-subject H-1B filing windows, which open in April for an October 1 start. Green Card sponsorship via PERM typically adds one to two years on top of H-1B approval, depending on your country of birth and priority date.
