Frame your experience around HVAC sales cycles
Lennox sells into contractor, distributor, and commercial channels with long deal cycles. Tailor your resume to show experience managing multi-stakeholder B2B sales, not just closing speed. Consulate officers and USCIS reviewers assess specialty occupation fit, so your credentials need to map cleanly to a defined sales engineering or technical sales function.
Target roles tied to technical product lines
Sales positions supporting Lennox's commercial HVAC or refrigeration equipment are more likely to require a relevant degree, which strengthens your H-1B specialty occupation case. Generalist inside sales roles carry more risk of a USCIS challenge, so prioritize postings that list engineering or business degree requirements explicitly.
Confirm sponsorship intent before final interview rounds
Lennox operates through regional sales offices and a corporate HR structure. Ask your recruiter during the second round whether the specific business unit has sponsored for the role level you're applying for. Some regional offices have more discretion than others, and getting clarity early avoids wasted cycles.
Align your start date with H-1B cap timelines
If you need a new H-1B, USCIS opens registration in March with an October 1 start date. Structure your offer negotiation so your employment start aligns with that window. If you're already on H-1B status with another employer, Lennox can file a transfer and you can start once the receipt notice is issued.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified Sales openings at Lennox
Not all Lennox job postings on general boards indicate sponsorship availability. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Sales roles at Lennox International that are open to visa sponsorship, so you're only spending time on applications where the pathway is already confirmed.
Prepare for a DOL prevailing wage review in your territory
Lennox's Sales roles are geographically distributed, and DOL prevailing wages vary significantly by metro area. Before accepting an offer, verify that the salary offered meets the wage level for your specific work location, since the LCA your employer files with DOL is tied to the actual worksite, not corporate headquarters.

Find Sales at Lennox International JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Lennox International sponsor H-1B visas for Sales roles?
Yes, Lennox International sponsors H-1B visas for Sales positions, particularly those tied to technical product lines like commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment. The strongest cases are for roles requiring a specific degree in engineering, business, or a related field, where USCIS specialty occupation criteria are clearly met. Generalist sales roles can be harder to qualify, so degree alignment with the job description matters.
How do I apply for Sales jobs at Lennox International?
Applications go through Lennox International's careers portal, where Sales roles are listed by region and business unit. You can also browse verified sponsorship-eligible Sales openings at Lennox through Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for positions open to visa sponsorship. When applying, highlight any experience with B2B sales in manufacturing, HVAC, or industrial equipment, as Lennox prioritizes candidates familiar with contractor and distributor channels.
What visa types does Lennox International commonly sponsor for Sales roles?
Lennox sponsors H-1B visas for Sales professionals in specialty occupation roles. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, the company uses employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3, typically initiated after an employee has established tenure. The EB-3 route, which requires PERM labor certification through DOL, is more common for Sales roles that fall under professional rather than advanced degree classifications.
What qualifications does Lennox International expect for Sales roles requiring sponsorship?
Lennox typically looks for a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a field relevant to the product line you'd be selling. For commercial or technical sales positions, prior experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or building systems is a strong differentiator. Roles at the territory manager or commercial accounts level often expect three or more years of B2B sales experience, with preference for candidates who understand contractor and distribution networks.
How long does the sponsorship process take for a Sales offer at Lennox International?
If you're applying for a new H-1B and need to go through the annual lottery, the timeline from registration to work authorization is roughly seven to eight months, with an October 1 start date. If you're transferring an existing H-1B from another employer, Lennox can file a portability petition and you can start once USCIS issues a receipt notice, often within two to four weeks of filing.
