Verify Your Credentials Before Applying
Most U.S. states require internationally educated nurses to obtain a CGFNS certificate or pass the NCLEX-RN before any employer can advance a visa petition. Have both completed before you reach out to Lexington Health recruiters.
Target Facilities With Consistent Nursing Openings
Lexington Health regularly posts a large volume of Nursing vacancies across its network. Focus your applications on roles that have been listed for several weeks, which signals genuine workforce need and a higher likelihood of sponsorship approval.
Browse Open Nursing Roles on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Lexington Health's current Nursing openings by visa sponsorship type. This lets you identify which specific roles and locations are actively seeking sponsored candidates before you invest time in a full application.
Understand the EB-3 PERM Filing Timeline
Employment-based Green Card sponsorship for nurses typically goes through the EB-3 category and requires PERM labor certification filed with the DOL. The full process from offer to approval can span several years, so clarify the employer's timeline commitment during your interview.
Clarify Sponsorship Terms Before Accepting an Offer
Some healthcare employers attach service agreements or repayment clauses to sponsorship arrangements. Ask Lexington Health's HR team directly whether a contractual work commitment is tied to your visa petition before signing any offer letter.
Confirm Your Work Authorization Status With USCIS
If you're already in the U.S. on a different nonimmigrant status, confirm with USCIS whether you can begin work at Lexington Health while an adjustment of status petition is pending. Unauthorized work during this window can jeopardize your entire Green Card case.

Find Nursing at Lexington Health JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Lexington Health sponsor H-1B visas for Nurses?
Nursing roles at Lexington Health are generally not sponsored under H-1B because most bedside nursing positions do not meet the specialty occupation threshold USCIS requires for that visa category. Lexington Health's sponsorship activity for Nursing is concentrated in the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Card pathways, which are specifically designed for healthcare workers.
Which visa types are commonly used for Nursing roles at Lexington Health?
The EB-3 category is the most common pathway for internationally educated nurses at employers like Lexington Health. It requires PERM labor certification through the DOL, followed by an I-140 immigrant petition filed with USCIS. Nurses with advanced practice credentials, such as nurse practitioners, may qualify for EB-2 depending on their degree level and role requirements.
What qualifications and experience does Lexington Health expect for Nursing roles?
Lexington Health typically expects active RN licensure in the relevant state, completion of the NCLEX-RN, and a nursing degree from an accredited program. International candidates also need a CGFNS certification or equivalent credential evaluation. Clinical experience in long-term care, post-acute, or rehabilitation settings is an advantage given the nature of Lexington Health's facilities.
How do I apply for Nursing jobs at Lexington Health?
You can browse and apply for Nursing roles at Lexington Health through Migrate Mate, which filters openings by visa sponsorship type so you can identify positions actively seeking sponsored candidates. When you apply, confirm sponsorship availability directly with the recruiter early in the process, and have your NCLEX results, state license, and credential evaluation documents ready to share.
How do I understand the timeline for Nursing visa sponsorship at Lexington Health?
After receiving a job offer, the PERM labor certification process with the DOL typically takes six months to over a year. The subsequent I-140 petition with USCIS adds additional time, and depending on your country of birth, you may face a priority date backlog before you can apply for adjustment of status. Clarifying each stage with your employer at the offer phase helps you plan realistically.
