Job Roles at Lochmueller Group Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Lochmueller Group Visa Sponsorship USA
Target engineering and technical roles first
Lochmueller Group's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical consulting disciplines. Focus your applications on roles in civil, structural, or environmental engineering, where the specialty occupation requirement is clearest and sponsorship is most defensible.
Understand the consulting firm sponsorship model
Professional services firms like Lochmueller Group sponsor based on project demand, not headcount targets. Timing your application to align with active project cycles or new contract wins can meaningfully improve your chances of landing a sponsored role.
Highlight discipline-specific credentials in your application
Consulting firms weigh technical credentials heavily when assessing sponsorship cases. Professional Engineer licensure, relevant certifications, or a graduate degree in your field strengthens the specialty occupation argument and signals long-term retention value to the firm.
Research verified sponsorship history before applying
Not every consulting firm sponsors consistently across all roles. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus your energy on companies with a confirmed track record rather than guessing from job postings.
Prepare for a project-based interview process
Lochmueller Group evaluates candidates on practical, client-facing consulting skills. Prepare to discuss past project work in detail, including scope, your specific role, and outcomes. Demonstrating billable-hour readiness reduces perceived sponsorship risk for hiring managers.

Does Lochmueller Group sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Lochmueller Group sponsors H-1B visas. The firm has an established pattern of petitioning for H-1B status, primarily for technical and engineering roles that meet the specialty occupation standard. Sponsorship at a firm this size is typically tied to specific project needs and candidate fit, so applying for a well-matched role matters more than general interest.
Which visa types does Lochmueller Group sponsor?
Lochmueller Group sponsors H-1B visas and supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates. The firm also sponsors TN visas for eligible Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories, and J-1 visas in certain circumstances. For international candidates, F-1 OPT is often the most accessible entry point into the company.
Which departments or roles at Lochmueller Group are most likely to be sponsored?
Sponsorship at Lochmueller Group is concentrated in technical disciplines consistent with its consulting focus, including civil engineering, transportation planning, environmental services, and structural design. Roles that clearly require a specialized degree in a defined field are the strongest candidates for H-1B sponsorship, as they meet the specialty occupation threshold most directly.
How do I find open sponsored roles at Lochmueller Group?
Migrate Mate is the most efficient way to find roles at Lochmueller Group with confirmed sponsorship history. You can filter by visa type and employer to see verified sponsorship data alongside active job listings, so you're not relying on a job posting's vague mention of visa support. Applying through a channel that confirms sponsorship history helps you prioritize your effort.
How do I approach the application process at Lochmueller Group as an international candidate?
Lead with your technical qualifications and project experience, Lochmueller Group evaluates candidates on the strength of their engineering or consulting background, not their immigration status. If you're on OPT, make that clear and explain your H-1B timeline proactively. Smaller consulting firms appreciate candidates who demonstrate they've thought through the process, including petition timing relative to the April H-1B filing window.
