Target engineering and software roles first
May Mobility's core product is autonomous vehicle technology, so software engineers, robotics specialists, and systems engineers are the most likely candidates for H-1B or OPT sponsorship. Lead your application with technical depth relevant to AV development.
Leverage OPT and CPT as your entry point
May Mobility sponsors F-1 OPT and CPT, which gives international students a practical path in before pursuing H-1B sponsorship. An internship or OPT role lets you demonstrate value before the company commits to a longer-term petition.
Understand the H-1B lottery before relying on it
H-1B sponsorship at May Mobility is tied to the annual lottery. Time your application cycle strategically, aim to start in an OPT or CPT role well before your lottery deadline so you're not left without status if selection doesn't happen immediately.
Canadian and Mexican nationals should flag TN eligibility
May Mobility sponsors TN visas, which applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying USMCA occupations like engineers and computer scientists. TN has no lottery, so if you qualify, it's a faster and more predictable path than H-1B.
Position yourself around autonomy and safety-critical systems
May Mobility operates in a specialized segment of the automotive industry focused on safe, accessible autonomous transport. Candidates with backgrounds in functional safety, machine learning, or sensor fusion are well-aligned with the roles most likely to receive sponsorship consideration.
Browse verified sponsorship history before applying
Confirming a company actually sponsors before investing time in an application matters. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and find open roles at companies like May Mobility without guessing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does May Mobility sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, May Mobility sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an active sponsorship track record, primarily for technical roles aligned with its autonomous vehicle platform. Because H-1B sponsorship is subject to the annual lottery, candidates are best positioned by entering through F-1 OPT first and building tenure before their lottery window opens.
What visa types does May Mobility sponsor?
May Mobility sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. This range covers most international candidates in technical fields, from students completing degrees and seeking practical training to Canadian and Mexican nationals who qualify under USMCA occupational categories. Green Card sponsorship is not part of their current documented track record.
Which roles or departments at May Mobility are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at May Mobility is concentrated in technical disciplines. Roles in software engineering, autonomy stack development, systems engineering, and robotics are the strongest fit given the company's core product focus. Operations and business roles are less commonly sponsored, though it varies by seniority and business need at the time of hiring.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at May Mobility?
Migrate Mate lists open roles at verified sponsoring companies, including May Mobility, so you can search by visa type and confirm sponsorship history before applying. This removes the guesswork of cold-applying to companies that may not actually support international candidates, especially important when you're working against OPT or status deadlines.
How do I improve my chances of getting sponsored at an autonomous vehicle company like May Mobility?
Demonstrate direct relevance to AV technology in your application materials. May Mobility works on real-world deployment of autonomous vehicles in transit settings, so experience in perception, motion planning, embedded systems, or safety validation carries weight. If you're on F-1 OPT, start early enough to build a performance track record before your employer needs to commit to an H-1B petition.
