ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Engineering co-op students at Mubea, NA are considered to be an integral part of our Engineering staff and are provided with tasks that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating. Under the guidance of our engineering staff, you will be assigned to projects related to Production, Controls, Quality or Research & Design areas (dependent upon current educational curriculum).
- Coordinating / monitoring project documentation, timelines, technical performance, budget, production, quality deliverables, and corrective action initiatives throughout product launch(s).
- Manages tooling orders and samples for customers.
- Participate in cross functional development teams within the company to develop and communicate program deliverables, priorities, and timeline targets based on customer derived expectations and internal requirements.
- Ability to understand, track, drill-down, and question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based upon that data.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a currently enrolled, degree seeking student from an accredited engineering program majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other Engineering related discipline. Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills required. Working knowledge of computer application software such as MS Office, MS Access, Minitab, AutoCAD, SAP (training will be provided if needed). Ability and desire to work in a fast paced, manufacturing environment. Must be able to work overtime when required. Must be organized and work well with constantly priority changes. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
