ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist engineers and maintenance personnel with the assembly, installation, and modification of manufacturing equipment.
- Support equipment repair, rebuild, and improvement projects.
- Assist with the installation and replacement of mechanical components including bearings, shafts, sprockets, chains, belts, motors, cylinders, valves, and sensors.
- Read and interpret basic engineering drawings, assembly drawings, sketches, and work instructions.
- Help document equipment layouts, procedures, maintenance activities, and improvement projects.
- Observe and participate in troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
- Assist with equipment testing, validation, and startup activities.
- Support preventive maintenance programs and equipment inspections.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction.
