Align Your Credentials Before Applying
Healthcare roles at NeighborHealth often require state licensure or certification before an offer is finalized. Confirm your credentials transfer to Massachusetts and that any foreign-earned degrees are evaluated by a NACES-approved organization ahead of your application.
Target Community Health Center Openings
NeighborHealth operates as a Federally Qualified Health Center, which shapes the types of clinical roles it posts. Roles tied to underserved populations, primary care, and care coordination align closely with its mission and appear most consistently in its hiring pipeline.
Browse Open Healthcare Roles on Migrate Mate
Filtering by visa type and employer is faster than scanning general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to surface Healthcare openings at NeighborHealth that are relevant to your specific visa category, whether that's H-1B, OPT, CPT, or TN.
Clarify TN Eligibility for Your Role
TN status for healthcare workers is category-specific under USMCA. Confirm your job title maps to a qualifying TN profession before negotiating an offer, since not every Healthcare role at NeighborHealth will meet the DOL's defined occupational list.
Request an H-1B Filing Timeline at Offer
If you need H-1B sponsorship, ask the hiring team early whether they file in the annual April lottery or use cap-exempt status. USCIS cap-exempt pathways may apply given NeighborHealth's FQHC designation, which could affect your start date options significantly.
Prepare for an LCA-Tied Salary Discussion
Your offered wage must meet the prevailing wage level certified on the Labor Condition Application filed with DOL. Review posted salary ranges against your geographic wage level before accepting an offer to avoid delays in the LCA certification step.

Does NeighborHealth sponsor H-1B visas for Healthcares?
Yes, NeighborHealth sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying Healthcare roles. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, it may also qualify for cap-exempt H-1B filing, which means sponsorship is not limited to the annual April lottery. Confirming cap-exempt eligibility with the hiring team during the offer stage is the most reliable way to understand your specific timeline.
Which visa types are commonly used for Healthcare roles at NeighborHealth?
NeighborHealth supports H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visa categories for Healthcare positions. OPT and CPT are common entry points for recent graduates in clinical or health services fields. TN applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals in specific healthcare occupations defined under USMCA. H-1B is the standard long-term sponsorship path for most roles.
What qualifications are expected for Healthcare roles at NeighborHealth?
NeighborHealth's Healthcare roles typically require relevant clinical training, licensure, or certification appropriate to the position. For patient-facing roles, Massachusetts state licensure is usually a prerequisite. Foreign-earned degrees may need a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved evaluator. Roles in care coordination or health services administration may place greater weight on field experience alongside formal education.
How do I apply for Healthcare jobs at NeighborHealth?
You can find and filter Healthcare openings at NeighborHealth by visa type using Migrate Mate, which makes it straightforward to identify roles compatible with your current status. Once you identify a role, apply directly through NeighborHealth's careers portal. Being upfront about your visa category during the screening stage helps the hiring team assess sponsorship feasibility before extending an offer.
How do I plan my timeline for H-1B sponsorship at NeighborHealth?
If NeighborHealth files under the standard H-1B cap, petitions are submitted in April for an October 1 start date, so backward-planning from your OPT or current status expiration matters. If the cap-exempt pathway applies due to FQHC status, USCIS can adjudicate the petition year-round with no lottery. Clarifying which filing route applies at the offer stage lets you set a realistic start date and avoid gaps in work authorization.
