About NexHealth
Our healthcare system remains frustratingly analog. When you live in a world of one-tap car rides, instant meal delivery, and unlimited streaming, why do you still have to call to schedule a doctor’s appointment and fill out a clipboard in the waiting room? NexHealth’s mission is to accelerate innovation in healthcare by connecting patients, providers, and developers. We’re building the infrastructure layer for modern healthcare, connecting thousands of fragmented, on-premise, and closed EHR systems into a single, modern platform that powers software, APIs, payments, and patient experiences across the ecosystem.
Founded: 2017
Headquarters: San Francisco, CA
Funding: $177M Series C
Employees: 200+
* Trusted by tens of thousands of providers and hundreds of health-tech developers — forging the infrastructure layer that modern healthcare needs
About The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, people-first SMB Account Executive Manager to lead and scale our SMB sales team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for hiring, coaching, and developing a team of Account Executives who drive growth and adoption across our SMB customer base. As the SMB AE Manager, you’ll own your team’s number, build the systems and rituals that make reps successful, and act as a force multiplier for a high-performing and deeply customer-driven organization. You’ll balance day-to-day coaching with the strategic work of building a repeatable, scalable sales motion. This is a full-time, hybrid role available in select cities.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of SMB Account Executives, owning their ramp, performance, and career growth
- Own and forecast your team’s pipeline and revenue targets, holding the team accountable to consistent execution
- Hire and onboard top sales talent as the team scales — raise the bar with every hire
- Run high-quality coaching: deal reviews, call coaching, pipeline inspection, and 1:1s that drive measurable improvement
- Build and refine the SMB sales playbook — codify what works and scale it across the team
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to surface customer feedback and influence the roadmap
- Help shape a new and fast-scaling business motion — bring ideas, test quickly, and iterate
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of sales management experience, leading a team of quota-carrying AEs, ideally in SaaS
- A track record of full-cycle closing success before moving into management
- Demonstrated ability to hire, coach, and develop AEs to consistently hit and exceed targets
- Strong command of pipeline management, forecasting, and sales analytics
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a genuine customer-first mindset
- A founder mentality — comfortable operating in ambiguity and building process where little exists
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and modern sales technologies
- Willingness to travel up to 30% for onsite office visits
Compensation
Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed below is the total target cash compensation (TTCC) and includes base compensation and variable compensation in the form of commissions. Variable compensation type is determined by your role and level. Other benefits may include stock options, an unlimited paid time off policy, and up to 100% coverage on medical, vision and dental insurance.
NexHealth Compensation Range $200,000—$240,000 USD
Benefits
- Full Medical, Dental, and Vision (up to 100% covered)
- 401K and commuter benefits
- Flexible PTO
- High-impact work that directly improves the healthcare experience for millions
Our Values
- Solve the customer’s problems, not yours
When making decisions, think from the perspective of the customer. It’s easy to make decisions that make our lives simpler, but not the customers.

Do the things others are not willing to do
As a Nexer, always go after the hardest problems. Pursue things at the highest quality. Move at the fastest pace. -
Take ownership
Act like a founder. Own your roles, destinies, mistakes, behavior, and our mission. The buck stops with each of us - no blaming or excuses. -
Say what’s on your mind, with positive intent
Be direct, proactive, transparent, and frequent in your communication. -
Default trust
As a Nexer, you do not have to earn trust, trust is given to you by default. If we by default trust each other, our speed of communication, feedback, information sharing, and overall improvements will be a lot faster. -
Think in first principles
We first identify the problem and then break it down to its fundamentals before diving into solutions. We constantly ask “why” to validate our assumptions.

Target engineering and product roles first
NexHealth's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical roles. Software engineering, product management, and data-focused positions are where international candidates have the strongest case for visa support within their Technology & Software hiring pipeline.
Understand which visa types NexHealth supports
NexHealth sponsors H-1B visas and works with F-1 students on OPT and CPT. If you're on OPT, apply early, employers in health tech often need lead time to evaluate and initiate the H-1B sponsorship process before your status expires.
Align your background with healthcare technology
NexHealth sits at the intersection of clinical workflows and modern software. Candidates who can speak to patient-facing platforms, practice management systems, or health data will stand out and signal genuine fit beyond just technical credentials.
Raise sponsorship early but frame it professionally
When applying to a focused health-tech company like NexHealth, address visa needs directly in your cover note or recruiter screen. Companies with established sponsorship programs prefer candidates who are transparent and organized about their immigration timeline.
Look for active openings through verified sponsor filters
Not every job posting flags sponsorship availability. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you identify current NexHealth openings where international candidates are genuinely considered.
Prepare for a structured interview process
NexHealth is a growth-stage technology company, meaning hiring moves quickly but rigorously. Expect technical assessments and cross-functional interviews. Come prepared to demonstrate both domain knowledge and how you'd contribute to scaling their healthcare platform.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does NexHealth sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, NexHealth sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an established track record of supporting international employees in technical roles through the H-1B program. If you're currently on F-1 OPT or another status, NexHealth is worth targeting as a company willing to invest in the sponsorship process for the right candidate.
Which visa types does NexHealth support for international employees?
NexHealth sponsors H-1B visas and works with F-1 students on both OPT and CPT authorizations. TN visa holders may also be considered. The company does not have a documented Green Card or E-3 visa sponsorship history, so candidates pursuing permanent residency pathways should clarify long-term sponsorship intentions directly with the recruiting team.
Which departments or roles at NexHealth are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at NexHealth is most common in technical and product-focused roles, software engineering, backend development, data engineering, and product management. These are the functions where specialty occupation requirements for H-1B are most clearly met and where the company has historically concentrated its international hiring.
How do I know if NexHealth is currently hiring visa-sponsored roles?
Job postings don't always specify sponsorship eligibility upfront. Migrate Mate lets you search NexHealth's open positions filtered by verified sponsorship history, so you can focus your effort on roles where international candidates are genuinely considered rather than applying blind and asking recruiters after the fact.
How do I time my application to NexHealth around my visa status?
If you're on F-1 OPT, apply at least six to nine months before your OPT expires to give NexHealth enough time to evaluate your fit and initiate an H-1B petition before the April filing window. CPT students should align internship timelines with academic requirements. Communicate your authorization dates clearly during the recruiter screen so there are no surprises.
