ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What you’ll be doing As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Options For All, you’ll play a vital role in helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) achieve independence and thrive in their communities.
- Empower: Your work will directly help clients achieve milestones, build confidence and enjoy fulfilling, independent lives.
- Advocate: Champion the dignity and rights of individuals with disabilities by fostering inclusion and respect.
- Collaborate: Work alongside a passionate group of professionals dedicated to making a positive difference in clients’ lives.
- Creating experiences: Plan fun, engaging activities tailored to each client’s goals.
- Make Connections: Build relationships with clients, families, caregivers, and community partners.
- Stay Safe: Prioritize health and safety while offering the highest quality of care.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
What we’re looking for
- Passion: A desire to empower individuals with I/DD and make a real impact.
- Team Player: Someone who works well with others, takes initiative, and adapts to new situations.
- Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving, social work, life skills coaching, as a teaching assistant or volunteering is a plus but not required.
- Skills:
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Adaptability to address individual’s needs with care and flexibility.
- Basic tech skills (mobile phone use, email, Microsoft, electronic database systems).
