SALARY RANGE
The salary range for this position is $62,000 to $78,000.

JOB SUMMARY
The Executive Assistant to the Vice President, People and Culture provides high-level administrative, operational, and scheduling support to the Vice President and designated senior leaders across the People and Culture team. The Executive Assistant coordinates priorities, manages key administrative workflows, and helps ensure timely, organized support for the team’s senior leadership.
This position is based in Washington, DC (hybrid schedule).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Vice President, People and Culture in handling sensitive matters with a high degree of confidentiality, discretion.
- Manage complex calendars, prioritize scheduling requests, and coordinate meetings, appointments, agendas, and daily commitments.
- Provide administrative and operational support, including drafting correspondence, memoranda, reports, invoices, and screening voicemails.
- Arrange travel and accommodations, prepare itineraries, and process expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Attend meetings on behalf of VP, taking and/or recording minutes and preparing other reference materials.
- Prepare and format documents, spreadsheets, presentations, reports, and project materials using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related systems.
- Review incoming communications and memoranda on behalf of senior staff, assess priority, and summarize or route information to appropriate team members.
- Perform office tasks including maintaining records, ordering supplies, and aid in administering HR and operations tasks/requests.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by executives.

The Executive Assistant, People and Culture is not a supervisory role.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION and/or EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred and/or at least four years of related experience required.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment, have a strong business sense and can decipher priorities and make sound judgement calls when needed.
- Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems.
- Able to type minimum of 50 words per minute.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
